Re: Big Lots Part 4

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but a Friends and Family coupon for 20% off has appeared on the Big Lots website. It's good only on Sunday July 19 between 5 and 9pm.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

Another title(s) to add to the recently spotted list is a dual pack of Felicity/Samantha from the American Girl series. It contains the two titles shown here though they were in a large, awkward shaped cardboard holder (so large that couldn't fit on the shelf, they were laying on top of one of the 4-sided wire rack displays). Picked one up for $3 since I know my daughter would enjoy these.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

The ValleyView/Josey Lane store in Farmer's Branch has tons of Popeye, Flintstones, Wacky Races, Top Cat and Nickelodeon stuff, along with Tales From the Crypt and others. Now I'm just looking for the rest of the Hanna Barbera stuff.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

Earlier I saw some talk of the LA Lakers set being mainly on the west coast. For what it's worth, I've seen that set in just about every Big Lots that I've been to in SC and NC, so it's out there.

Is that the one that comes packaged with Superman Animated? My friend found a Batman animated and Superman animated packaged together for $3.

I went to two Big Lots! this morning and they have none of those $10 box sets.

Granite City got nothing new just couple of $6 box sets. Dallas, Joey, couple of Superbowl sets and some others.

Fairview Heights got couple of LA sets, Joey season 1, OC season 2, West wings, Couple of Dallas sets.

I have another question for those who was lucky enough to grab $3 sets or $10 complete sets.
Do these sets located in $3 bin or $6 Box set rack or somewhere else in store ?

Good luck to all fellow DVDTALKERS and Happy Hunting.
I went to the St Ann store yesterday and the St Peters store today. No $10 sets in either store and most of the stock was titles I had seen before.

Looking through the sets I found yesterday, thought it was interesting to discover a Target sticker on the back of the Kubrick set.

I hope there wasn't a deal struck with the distributor & Newbury Comics where if Newbury took some of this product that no one else in their territory could sell it ?
I dunno ..a lot of these animation boxes Top Cat ,Flintstones, and Adventures of Superman have been at Newbury for $9.99 in the last month..they also were selling a lot of the Dallas and I only saw a few of the seasons at Big Lots.

I have also seen recently The Imax box and The complete Roots ($19.99) at Newbury Comics.
