A lot of impressive stuff for sure. Hopefully Texas gets some. I'd love some of those Warner sets for $6 each. That's quite the bargain.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

You all know those 3 Films on 1 DVD for $1 collections? Anyone know a source for them other than Big Lots? I'm sort of thinking to complete the collection. A "spine number collection" that will be a bit cheaper to obsess over than Criterions.

Yes, widescreen, commentary, some Ramones outtakes.
It's Lumivision so I'm not expecting great quality, but it was the only copy I saw so I grabbed it.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

Just realized "Never Say Never Again" isn't contained in the Ultimate Edition Bond boxes, so I went back to pick it up. (I'm also a slave to those Anderson "Long John" pretzels at $1 per bag.)

Are the UPC codes cut on the WB box sets too? Either way, I still want a bunch of those. I was just wondering.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

I bought a number of the WB discs already mentioned...

Plus, I got the 2-disc version of the 1933 "King Kong" and a Stallone double-feature of "Cobra" and "Tango & Cash" (both letterboxed).

Smallville season 7 on blu-ray - $6
Drew Carrey season 1 - $6
Super Friends vol. 2 - $6

Blu-ray? Really? I've never seen a blu-ray of any kind at my Big Lots. This would be a big development.

Re: Big Lots Part 4

Yes, they were mixed in with what I assume was a box of DVD's that got put out on the 4 sided wire racks. This store also got in the 4 sided cardboard display that was filled with mostly Bond titles and also 4+ "flats" of dvd's. A lot of re-stock but many WB titles that previously showed up slashed are now showing up "clean".

Sadly, for me, very little of the animated WB stuff that was mentioned above. I was really hoping for Thundercats and Wait Til Your Father Gets Home.

I was simply blown away by the Wonder Woman set though. They had one of the seasons(3?) for $6 but also the complete series that includes 1, 2 & 3 for $6. Best find for me in a long time.

Not on any of the ones I got.

Hit another BL today, no WB cartoons, no NFL stuff and most certainly none of the other crazy TV stuff just listed.

New to me though was Viva Knievel for $3, hell the packaging alone is worth that, so that was the only one I got.
