Mine doesn't either. It's listed as a Code #03, which means it's a new item, but there are none on order. Very strange. Club #140 also has none of the DVD in stock, but there are 10 on order. However, the IR expires on the 23rd. It would be up to your individual club (or the mgr. you speak with) as to whether or not they will honor that sale price after the fact (essentially, a raincheck) since there probably won't be any in stock before the 23rd. My club won't do rainchecks, but yours might.

Upated initial post with new IRs (thanks, hvlien!). Couple of decent discounts off some TV on DVD.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

So I did both the Hanna Montana Blu-Ray ($29.99-$10.00 instant rebate-$10.00 Blu-Ray coupon = $9.99 before tax)
and Smallville-Season 7 ($19.99-$5.00 instead rebate =$14.99 before tax) deals at BJs yesterday. Got the last
one of the Smallville-Season 7 sets (they had a few Smallville-Season 5 and Season 6 left) and what was the last
one of the Hanna Montana Blu-Rays - well at least on the shelf but not in the store at the time as you will see.
I had no problems whats-so-ever at the registar as the instant rebate came off on both and the Blu-Ray coupon
worked as well.

I'm about to leave when I noticed the lady behind me is going to buy the Hanna Montana Blue-Ray too - guess she
got the second to last one or found another one somewhere else on the shelf - I didn't ask. I did ask her if she had
the Blu-Ray coupon for it - she said no, she didn't know there was one - her sister is the one who buys the Disney
Blu-Rays for the kids and for some reason this week didn't pickup the Hanna Montana Blu-Ray yet. So I gave her my
second Blu-Ray coupon - I always print out a second coupon just in case one of them doesn't scan and then I don't
have to have the cashier type in those numbers etc. (Also I was thinking of picking up an extra one and give it to
someone else but that plan went out the window since I got the last Blu-Ray.) So I did my good deed for the day
and someone else wounded up getting a better deal.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Got the September 2009 Member Savings Book in the mail today and theres a $10 off coupon when
you buy X-Men Orgins: Wolverine on DVD or Blu-Ray and a Shick Quattro Titanium Limited Edition Pack.

Nice pairing there! Shick Quattro Titanium Limited Edition Pack consists of a razor and 12 extra blades -
not sure of the price - probably something like $19.99?

Coupon goes from Sept 14-Sept 30. Although you will probably should use it during the first week of
release so you can also take advantage of the instant rebate on X-Men Orgins: Wolverine - if there is one.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Updated initial post with a couple new DVD IRs, and several on TV shows (very short IRs). Also updated the prices for the Wolverine DVD and BD, which are $18.99 and $25.99, respectively. Also got ahold of a bunch of initial price points for a bunch of to-be-released stuff. Too much to list, but just FYI here's a few Blu-Ray films (all corresponding DVDs are at an $18.99 price point). No IRs listed for any of these, yet, but it looks like BJ's is starting to come down a bit from their $27.99 starting price for BDs:

Sep. 1st
Braveheart (BLU-RAY) $24.99
Gladiator (BLU-RAY) $24.99
State of Play (BLU-RAY) $26.99

Sep. 8th
Crank 2 (BLU-RAY) $23.99

Sep. 22nd
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (BLU-RAY) $26.99

Sep. 29th
Monsters vs. Aliens (BLU-RAY) $26.99

Oct. 6th
Dance Flick (BLU-RAY) $26.99
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (BLU-RAY) $25.99
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Collector's Book Set (BLU-RAY) $39.99

Oct. 13th
Land of the Lost (BLU-RAY) $26.99
The Proposal (BLU-RAY) $29.99

Oct. 27th
Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure (BLU-RAY) $27.99

Nov. 24th
Santa Buddies (BLU-RAY) $27.99

Do they have an IR on Duplicity? I was thinking of stopping there tonight and check if they have the Blu-ray at all.

Nope... strangely, they never did do an IR on that one. Not sure if it got stocked or not.

My local BJ's had the Blu-ray in stock but as you said no IR and I didn't want to pay $27.99 for it.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Updated main post... looks like no new IRs were posted on Sunday. They just killed a bunch of 'em was all. Gladiator and Braveheart remain at the $24.99 price point.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Disney Earth on BLU-RAY is $19.99 after a $7 IR, and the DVD is $16.99 after a $2 IR. So, $9.99 or $11.99 (respectively) after the DMR coupons.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

IRs are pretty much dead right now. They added IRs for both the BD and DVD versions of Fast & Furious 4 and Sunshine Cleaning and that's about it for this week! No more TV on DVD IRs at the moment.

Any IR's on the wolverine BD? Besides the $10 off coupon where you have to buy the razor blades that is.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Anyone notice if the prices on the newest ABC show seasons are decent or if they have any IRs?
Since BJ's takes coupons, might be worth it--there is the $10 coupon off the latest Scrubs, Samantha Who, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, Life on Mars, Ugly Betty. (I think all of these probably have the coupon inside, good on the whole list.)

New Releases:
  • Woverine BD $25.99 less $2 IR
  • Woverine DVD $18.99 less $2 IR
  • Crash Season 1 - $23.99 less $5 IR, not $18.99 less $5 IR, sorry for the typo
  • Grey's Anatomy - $39.99 less $10 IR

The Last House on the Left DVD is $18.99 less $5 IR...I can't remember when that rebate expires. Sunshine Cleaning also has a $5 IR on Blu or DVD.

I'm assuming that is the Crash S1 DVD and not Blu-Ray?

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

That's an excellent deal on Grey's for $19.99 if you have the $10 coupon that comes in the other shows--too bad I'm holding out for a Blu-Ray release.

Thanks for the updates! Changed initial post. The Last House on the Left BD is $22.99 (after $5 IR). All new rebates expire on the 20th. I picked up Wolverine at my club this evening. Purchased with the razor blades and used the $10 coupon. Will be returning the razor blades unopened in a few days for a full refund. Even if someone cared enough to actually go look up the coupon SKU and match it to what's on my receipt (and that's if I didn't chop that bottom half off), no one ever bothers to see that a coupon was used on a returned item. Full refund is always issued. $13.99 for my copy.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

You did us all a great favor when you started this thread, so I thought I'd update everyone with the Instant Rebate if I get a chance to stop by BJ's during my lunch on Tuesdays.

Thanks for catching the correct pricing on Crash Season 1 in your initial post.

60-Day Free BJ's pass for anyone who wants to check them out

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

I was in BJ's this afternoon and saw several Paramount horror/suspense titles for $3.99. The ones I recall:

Dead Zone
King Kong (1976)
Rosemary's Baby
Graveyard Shift
Silver Bullet
Breakdown
Sliver
Silver Bullet
Eye for an Eye
Tales from the Darkside: The Movie

I also saw some cheap Anchor Bay Blu-rays ($12.99):

Grace (just released this week...$19.99 and up online)
Children of the Corn
Hellraiser
Halloween
Dawn of the Dead

and....seasons of "Taxi" and "Happy Days" for $9.99.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

A few instate rebates I saw today:
  • Observe and Report - $19.29 less $3 IR = $16.29
  • Ghosts of Girlfriends Past - $18.99 less $3 IR = $15.99
  • The Mentalist Season 1 - $37.99 less $10 IR = $27.99

The instant rebates expire 09.27.
