I got S3 on the Beast Buy misprice. After the discount, it'd be like ~$114 for 1, 2 and 4 and an average $38 ea. is more than I'm willing to pay. Too bad they don't do deals like the awesome Mad Men S1 BD BF sale. That'd shift some units!

It worked out better than stated. I got $30 off for just getting Season 1 and 2 for $71.48 total.

Mine only took $20 off, and I had them pre-ordered already. At what stage did you enter the coupon?

Didn't have to enter the coupon. Added them from the Promo page and the $30 dollars was already marked off when I proceeded to checkout. The only other thing I did first was I tried adding the promo code to my existing order, but that didn't work as I expected it not to since the promo rules said it wouldn't.

Weird. Nothing is deducted for me unless I input the coupon code, and it only takes $20 off. Consider yourself lucky...

I got $30 automatically off seasons 1 & 2 together as well. I had already pre-ordered, but of course I will be cancelling the $97.98 order in favor of the $71.78 order (they had raised the price of season 2 from $48.99 to $52.49 since I placed the first order).

I preordered Season 1 just 2 days ago. I went ahead and ordered S1 & S2 together (only $20 discount here) and canceled S1 preorder from 2 days ago. Season 3 is too expensive because of different SRP I guess. Season 4 is also too expensive for me since there are only 14 episodes.

Season 2 has gone from 25% off to 30% off. It now matches the price of Season 1. It had been $52.49 and is now $48.99. Amazon is supposed to match their price adjustments on preorders. Those who ordered when the price was higher, check your order.

I don't know how people are getting $30 off only buying 2 seasons? That is not what the sale is. I've got prime, I'm only buying 1 & 2 & it's taking $20 off when I put the code in. That's good enough for me, but I know I'm gonna regret this when the inevitable Blu-Box-set comes out.

I didn't enter a code. I added both seasons to my shopping cart (from the link in the first post above) and proceeded to checkout after adding the second one. The Lost promo with $30 off was already applied.

Maybe I don't get the preorder guarantee. I emailed Amazon about Lost: S2 going down on their website. I wasn't sure if they automatically lowered it.
I got a response saying: Thanks for contacting us about the recent price change on "Lost: The Complete Second Season [Blu-ray]". I recognize you have a choice of retailers and appreciate that you prefer to order from us. Unfortunately, we do not have a post-order price guarantee. I've reviewed your order and see that your items haven't shipped yet. Under the circumstances, I'll make a one-time exception for you and reduce the item cost of to "Lost: The Complete Second Season [Blu-ray]" $48.99. Please understand that I'm honoring this reduced price because of the exceptional circumstances, and I'm doing this for you against our standard policy.
Am I wrong, I thought Amazon's preorder guarantee was if the price goes down between when you preorder to release date, they'd lower the price?

I think I read an explanation stating that if the price is lower when they SHIP the item, they will automatically adjust the price to the lower price. So I don't think they will be changing anyone's orders, unless it is still 30% off when it ships...

I think I subsequently found on their website that they lower your preordered price within 24 hours. I guess if I was wrong, I could have canceled the order and reordered at the lower price.

I give Amazon credit. I resubmitted our correspondence. They emailed back with an apology that the other person was incorrect. That was nice of them to do.
