Oh for frak's sake, I paid $1.50 more from DD for Wall-E during the "big sale", albeit for the 3-disc version. That's the second thing that's gone cheaper elsewhere after I'd bought from them, the other being the Godfather Trilogy BD at Beast Buy. Grrrrr. And the first one (Godfather) never arrived!

I believe my initial wording of the deal so I put it back to match how it is in the ad (as confusing as that seems to me).

I would suspect not because Casino Royale is a Sony title, whereas the catalog titles are handled by MGM/Fox. You can always give it a go, though. Maybe you'll get an employee who doesn't know or care and will give it to you.

my circuit city (emeryville, ca) had both the regular and special ed version of casino royale blu on sale for $16.99

but, they sold out by the time i got there.

i was able to get best buy to price match the special ed for $16.99
my friend wanted one too, but i got the last copy...
so, we went to walmart and got them to price match it too...

i have a serious problem, maybe someone can help me...i bought a sony blu ray dvd 350 and a sony 52 w4100 on 12/6/08 from circuit city for 299 and 2099 respectively...on 12/20 the same two items were on sale for 249 and 1649 respectively...i called circuit city and they told me they would adjust the price with a rebate but it would take 2 weeks...i called everyday to make sure i would get rebate and they kept saying no problem no problem..well needless to say after the 14 days and after christmas was over and after i could no longer get price nor return tv they are now telling me too bad we are not giving you rebate without proof that the price existed...what i need is an ad from around 12/20-12/24/2008 showing the price of 1899 for the two items or someone who purchased the two items and has the receipt showing it...please please please help me, its 500 off a 2000 purchase that has been eating me up for 2 months...i have 1 month to do this before circuit city closes all its doors and im screwed, the store has told me that if i provide them proof they will honor price...thank you

I'm sorry to say my friend, but I don't think you're going to get that rebate. With the liquidators taking over, I doubt they even have authority to issue any credits or rebates to anyone other than their debtors.

I don't know if Speedy is still around, but sometimes he hangs on to the ads for a while. He's probably your best shot if you want to try, I would PM him to check. You could also try to find scans of the ad over at CAG, sometimes members put them up in advance if you can find the proper thread.

As much as I dislike plugging them, check on slickdeals or fatwallet. They may have an adscan available from that week's ad.
