God I love Amazon and the DVDTalk Forums.

After having a bad customer service ordeal at Best Buy yesterday when I tried to pricematch Fry's prices for Flags of Our Fathers and The Untouchables, I check the forums this morning to discover that Amazon is selling them for the same price.

Plus Amazon has The Bank Job for $8.99, which is $8 less than what BB will have it for on Black Friday.

Amazon and DVDTalk get big pluses in my book.

Best Buy, well....

It looks like I'm in for the Office Seasons 2 & 3 and the West Wing Series all for about 100 bucks. My first thought... "I can sleep in tomorrow and not worry about any black Friday deals" My second thought... "I better be up early tomorrow to see what else Amazon is going to mark down!"

Good old Amazon changing prices while I'm shopping. I searched on The Bank Job BR which said $8.99, clicked to add it to my cart, but it showed $16.99. Since there's no way I'm paying more than $8.99 now, I then had to struggle to find replacement items in their same-old same-old <$4.99 junk section to get free shipping.

Though off topic, Amazon lists a 2-DVD edition of El Cid for $9.99 and a 3-DVD edition for $22.49. There are no details about what's on the 3rd DVD! A 3-DVD edition isn't even mentioned at DVD Empire, DVD Price Search, or DVD-Basen. The links off a Google search all take me to pages stating a 3-DVD edition but only mentioning 2 DVDs. Anyone know the story on this?
