There ARE factory *shrinkwrapped* DVDs around--usually it's a softer plastic than home/low-level shrinkwrapping. But not always of course.

I see this is already on the Big Lots list of titles, but today at a Dayton, OH store I did pick up for $3.00-
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within SE 2 disk "two big Thumbs up! Ebert & Roeper" http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-Spirits-Within-Special/dp/B00003CY5D/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1228770592&sr=1-2

East Of Eden was the only title I found that I wanted. $3 and it has the bonus disc.
BTW, the UPC and case has been cut. I like it better when they just did a small hole.

I checked my local Big Lots over the weekend and no Bond movies yet. I'm hoping there will be stock when I'm there tomorrow to pick up Dark Knight.

I listed the Lions Gate Xmas DVD's I found in post 217. Here's Non Xmas Lions Gate & Artisan $2 titles I've seen that are not in your list above. I suspect there are at least 2 separate assortments as my stores only had 7 titles you listed.

"2fer" Legionaire/Replicant
"2fer": Prom Night 2/Prom Night 4
"3 fer": Boat Trip/Van Wilder/Going Overboard
A Jersey Tale
After The Storm
Alf Tales
All Of Me
American Psycho 2
Babar The Movie
Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 CD & DVD
Bread & Roses
Clifford The Big Red Dog (several titles)
Cold Feet
Comedy Club Shoot-Out
Cyborg 2
Dr T & The Women
Eulogy
Gunfighter
Hail Caeser
Inspector Gadget's Biggest Quest Ever W/Embossed Cover
Joan of Arc
Popeye's Voyage: The Quest For Pappy (CGI, all copies I've seen in 2 stores have something loose in the case. Not sure if it's the disc)
Redneck Comedy Roundup
The Eagle Has Landed
The Fighting Westerner
The Littlest Ange's Easter
The Long Ride Home
The Reagans
Wagons East
Wisegirls

BTW, I highly recommend Serial Killing 101 for light teenaged fun. Stars (20 something at the time) Lisa Loeb as a teenage goth, & she pulls it off!

Cyborg 2--dang, I thought I found a real gem when I picked this up used. It's campy but I thought it would be a dvd that was going to be a little harder to find. Oh well, I would be buying lottery tickets if I was any good at predicting things.

As for the movie itself, it's low-budget, sci-fi camp to be sure but it does star a very young Angelina Jolie, a not so young Jack Palance and Robert De Niro's son, who I can never remember his name.

For $2 or $3 I would definitely recommend it as long as you know what you're getting into before hand.

Cyborg 2 s a wonderful movie if for no other reason than the scenes where we see Jolie's magnificent rack on that beautiful young body. True the dvd sucks and is in full-screen but ts worth $3.

Thanks for the new titles MooMooMooMoo, couple of questions though....
All I could find was a Prom Night 3 and 4 double feature, not 2 and 4, so I submitted it that way. Is that correct ???
Clifford titles were split down the middle between Artisan and Lions Gate depending on which ones they were so I didn't include them yet.
Comedy Club Shootout has 2 volumes. Did you find them both, or just one of them ???
Gunfighter has a number of possibilities.
Is Joan of Arc the one with LeeLee Sobieski on the cover ???
And Redneck Comedy Roundup has 2 versions as well. Which one did you find ???
I hate to sound like I'm nit-picking, I just want to be as accurate as I can. Thanks again.

The Huber Heights, OH store finally has the cut/slash barcode display of DVD's out for sale. The Salem Ave and also the Woodman store had their display out much earlier. The titles are mostly on a table but some of the really good stuff(my opinion) like "The Exorcist" are on the old wire racks. "King Kong" is on top of a giant cardboard display left over from a MGM wave. Here is what I got for $3.00 each-

Grilled with Ray Romano & Kevin James. I kinda smile just looking at the cover, these 2 guys know they aren't fooling anyone trying to look "serious" so they give a "fake serious" stare. http://www.amazon.com/Grilled-Ray-Romano/dp/B000FGGWGK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1229023631&sr=1-1
Freddy vs. Jason (2 disk) http://www.amazon.com/Freddy-vs-Jason-Line-Platinum/dp/B0000VCZMK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1229023800&sr=1-1
King Kong 1933 (already have this but bought it for a stocking stuffer. This version does include the opening overture. One of my favorite movies of all time!http://www.amazon.com/King-Kong-Single-Disc-Fay-Wray/dp/B000EHQTZO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1229024047&sr=1-5

I just can't get excited about these Lions Gate and First Look titles. These should be 1.00. Even then I wouldn't care. Hopefully they sell pretty quick though and they can bring out a new display in a couple weeks.

Believe those two would be the following.

Gunfighter (1998).. http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...earchID=328217
Joan of Arc (1999).. http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...earchID=264387

If it helps, believe those are the only two they can be given the title/studio combination.

Prom Night: You're right, it is 3 & 4. The price tag was blocking the last roman numeral "l" of 3, so I read it as 2.
Comedy Shoot is V1
Clifford: "The Big Red Dog" Artisan 01223512591450
"Puppy Days" Scholastic 01223616265050
Gunfighter Lionsgate 658149717527. If it states ws or fs, my eyes aren't good enough to read it.
Redneck Comedy "Roundup" FS/WS Lionsgate 01223617918401
Joan Of Arc LeeLee Sobieski WS Artisan 012236115922

Lantana is definitely worth a look for $2. Replay value is a little shaky on it, but for that price it's a mute point.

Their Sunday ad is up on their website and there's a mention of $2 movies. It says "titles vary by store." I don't know if they are repricing the $3 ones or these are the Lionsgate ones previously mentioned.
