The images on DD's site are notoriously inaccurate. If there's any question, I always cross-reference DD's UPC with the one on DVDEmpire to make sure DD's version is the one I want.

well crap ... i placed an order with some pre-orders (after reading someone in the thread say that it took the discount on them) only to see that it did not

time to cancel those and place another order later. I still don't see why items that are released during the sale period can not be "pre-ordered" .. It isn't like they aren't going to be ordered during the sale anyway.

C'mon DD .. make it a little easier for us.

I read on another thread/forum that with this sale, the three-disc BD is in fact, now cheaper than the two-disc BD.

The pre-orders (in the timeframe of the sale) work at DVD Planet, not DeepDiscount.

As for canceling, in my experience, you could be on the phone with a CSR and place the order while talking with them and immediately ask them to cancel your order and they would say it's too late and already being packaged. You will probably have to send them back after you get them.

Don't feel slighted. I've ordered from DD for years (back when it was DDD), including thousands...actually, tens of thousands, dollars worth of items...and still haven't gotten my first shipment from Thursday night.

I've placed four large orders so far but have only received shipping confirmation for the first.

So it's not a favoritism thing with new customers being placed at the bottom of the list.
