Stopped by the North Dartmouth Mass. location and found the 3-sided cardboard display back to back with the Iron Man cardboard display (in case anyone's looking for it from this area). Mostly everything there was WS which I was pleasantly surprised about. I wound up getting...

Blades of Glory
Pamela Anderson Roast
The Thing Called Love - Directors Cut
Scrooged
The Tuxedo

Personally, I couldn't believe I hadn't picked up Blades of Glory beforehand at a lesser sale somewhere else. If you like Will Ferrell silly-ass humor (like I do) you'll LOVE this movie.......That's just my opinion given to those of you on the fence.

My Wal-Mart had the 1973 and 2006 versions of Charlotte's Web, both widescreen.

I saw the majority of the movies mentioned at my Walmart and I went in with a list and found all I wanted except Coach Carter and Trading Places. I'm assuming Trading Places the old edition, so Coach Carter was really the only one I wanted but couldn't find, Are many other people seeing Coach Carter in their stores and is it P&S or WS? Last time I remember seeing Coach Carter at WMT many months ago there were only P&S copies. Now there are none.

Several movies mentioned at my store were P&S only in the display, but after wasting 15 minutes digging through the overstuffed (dangerously so) $5 bin I found a few of the ones I wanted (including one in WS).

Like others, I was dissapointed that Wal-Mart doesn't have the massive horror dvd display this year. Since DVD prices have dropped, it seems that they haven't had as many displays likes in years past.

Anyway, I saw more of the same from the $4 display but they also had Days of Thunder, Mission Impossible 1 (original release) for $4.

I almost miss Sony's Dreadtime Stories re-release series. That was a good way to release a few old titles with some cheap ones you'd never think of until then. Given that they fucked up with the Silent Hill double feature's OAR, the rest of them weren't that bad. I still have the Grudge 1 & 2 sitting at home, ready to be viewed in widescreen.

Today, my local Wal-mart had 2 of these displays. One where you might expect it near the DVD section. Another in the front of the store near the registers.

To answer your question, Manzana - I saw many of the copies of Coach Carter and they all appeared to be Widescreen.

Also saw Shock Treatment, 1st and Ten and Benji 4-movie set (MillCreek) for $5

I couldn't even find a horror DVD display at the Lewisville, Texas Wal-Mart. There are a few horror movies in the $5 display/bin, but that bin has shrank to 1/4 the size it used to be. Oh well- I prefer to order online anyway.

dont feel too bad man i live in Southern Californai in Van Nuys and our near by Wal Mart in Panoram just got the $4 display this week ... and we never got that horror display i picked up blades of glory and nacho libre

ill be getting Patriot Games , Clear and Present Danger, and The Sum Of All Fears if not tomorrow then weds.

*SOME ADVICE WHEN LOOKING AT THE $4 DISPLAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
if you see lets say MI:3 and look behind one or 2 copies and you see that its still MI:3 copies, DONT STOP THERE keep looking behind every copy ... i noticed alot of additional movies behind a mountain of other movies
