Swung by the one near work and picked up:

The Lawnmower Man (in keepcase with insert)
Angel of Vengeance (includes a free T-Shirt)

They also had 1 copy of Butterfly Effect 2 but it was a floater so I passed.

Re: 99 Cents Only stores has a few DVD's

Went back again today and found 1 new movie there, but it's a pretty good title

Old Acquaintance (an old WB Betty Davis movie).

Funny thing is I went to add it to my Vudu account in HDX via disc 2 digital and it gave me the option of 3 other Betty Davis movies and not this one

Re: 99 Cents Only stores has a few DVD's

My store keeps adding stuff. Weird. They went so long without getting anything new in. Picked up today:

Havoc 2 (didn't even know there was a sequel)
Rumble in the Bronx/The Corrupter double feature.

It was okay... to watch once. But just fine for a buck.

Some new stuff again (weird since I was just there 2 days ago and nothing). Both are Warner Bros titles.

The Salton Sea
George Stevens: A Filmmaker's Journey

I believe there's an "R" and "Unrated" version of this. That is, if it's the one with Anne Hathaway.

Re: 99 Cents Only stores has a few DVD's

My 99 cent store restocked today apparently. A lot of new stuff.

Rock School
Bedroom Window
The $cheme
Murder at 1600
Bridge of San Luis Rey
Widows

They also had a 2 disc Wild America-North America set, but I passed. I still haven't gotten around to watching Planet Earth.

Wild America with Marty Stouffer? His show was excellent.

I believe that's the one. I had to look him up on google but I remember their was a bearded guy on the cover of the DVD and it looked a bit dated .

Thanks for posting this. I bought this full price on release day at Tower Records. It has the alternate Beneath trailer that hasn't appeared on any other release. CVS had it for a while for $5 but the plastic cases were all wrinkled & artwork punctured. Haven't seen it at any 99 stores here though.

Good thing they didn't have Indiana Jones. You're whipped already!

I was in there Wednesday as I was shopping in the complex anyway and had nothing better to do. I saw Monday Night Mayhem.

Only one good find at my local store - Black Magic from the Shaw Brothers Collection.

Wow, those are some good finds. Was the Illusionist the Oscar nominated cartoon or the Edward Norton film?

I stopped by today and the only new stuff I saw was:

Dot The I (I picked this one up)
Thin Line Between Love and Hate/Love Jones-Double feature (I passed)

I kind of like that my store gets some obscure stuff like Dot The I. I added it to Vudu in HDX. It looks like my type of movie.

Re: 99 Cents Only stores has a few DVD's

A couple more new movies at the 99 cent only store a bit farther away.

J.R.R. Tolkien-The Origin of the Rings (Tolkien Documentary)
The Jackhammer Massacre (cheepy Lions Gate slasher film)

They also had a couple of the Redneck Comedy DVDs but I passed on those.
