FYI - I made on online purchase of Tiny Toons Season 1 and used the 40% off coupon, and it worked, even though the coupon specifies single- or double-disc only, no box sets (Tiny Toons is 4-discs). So give it a shot anyway if buying a set, just might work! (and doing it online instead of in-store means no arguing about it with managers!)

Everything went well until the very end (coupon accepted fine). Anyone else try to make an order today, either successfully or getting the same error?

Not a bad deal at 40% off. I went for:
- 3 season set of "Have Gun - Will Travel"
- 2nd season of Star Trek: The Original Series (pre-order)

Taking in to account the higher price with 40% discount it broke even with DeepDiscounts normal price with a 20% discount. So instead of waiting until next November's DeepDiscount sale I can get them now.

Update: The order went through on a second attempt and I have an email into their customer service to verify the first attempt did fail before final processing.

In addition, it is worth noting that the coupon worked for a pre-order which is not allowed during DeepDiscount sales, so this may be a good time to think ahead for those upcoming releases.

I just placed an online order and had the same problem, but I think it went through. When I was checking out, I was told that I would get free shipping because my order was over $25, but a $3.97 shipiing charge was applied at check-out. I tried using their customer care number, but got tired of waiting for a rep after 20 minutes. I also tried sending a note to Customer Care, but I was told that that service was unavailable.

That website is seriously buggy, hopefully I will get the 2 DVDs I ordered: "The General" (John Boorman) and "Listen to Britain".

Just got a hold of Customer Care (hint: try option 4). They confirmed that my order did go through and will credit me the $3.97 shipping. I have been trying to place a second order since this morning, but keep getting the "temporarily unavailable" message. The customer care rep told me that as long as I have applied the coupon and have an item in my cart the coupon will remain active. So even though the coupon expires tonight, if I can't get the order through until, say, this weekend (this was the example he quoted) I would still get the 40% discount. The key thing is to put something in the cart, apply the coupon, and don'y empty the cart until you are able to get the order to go through.

I think they'll usually require it to be a $20 purchase. But they often have little 25 cent candies near the register that I've used to bump myself over the minimum.
