Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I was only able to use one of the two codes online that I was emailed this morning. I get an error message trying to use the other code on the same account.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
With the new BN web site debacle (I'll skip the editorial on how poorly the new site was rolled out), I am unable to find any way to use member free shipping with my current membership. The only option I see is to sign up for a 2 month trial membership. Is this just me, or is it a problem for everyone? There's just no way to select free member shipping. I even went to the account page and entered my membership code again, and it said I already had one with my account.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Update - it's apparently just me not getting member free shipping. I contacted their tech support twice and got nowhere. This is looking more like the time that I quit getting member coupons and no one could ever get them back despite repeated attempts. BN is about to lose a loyal customer over this new web site, which was supposed to increase their sales. This is like strike three or four for me. They ought to be trying to keep their loyal customers, but if they don't care, I don't care. Sad to see BN come to this.

Odd thing was that I added in a book (under $25) and didn't get charged for shipping at all.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
If BN is restricting people to using one coupon per batch, then that will erase their one competitive advantage over anyone else. Ordering one item at a time with member free shipping and using a coupon on each order was what set them apart from any other online retailer. I don't think they were losing money on this deal, because cover prices of things like books have gone up dramatically over the past few years to "price in" steep online discounts.
Not that member free shipping works for me yet. The new BN web site comes across to me like they contracted it to the lowest bidder on eLance or oDesk. Basic use cases (like member free shipping) don't work, constant error messages and other strange stuff (adding an item to my shopping bag gets me a {success = true} message), and little things like a dollar amount showing up as "$12.9" make me wonder if they did any testing at all. They must have posted a "need clone of Amazon.com, budget $500" job on oDesk and gone live with what they go back. The problem with a debacle like this is their loyal customers are going to go elsewhere, and even if they get it fixed at some indefinite time in the future, those customers will be gone. I think we're watching the death of BN in real time now, with the Nook a complete failure and now this website revamp debacle. It didn't have to be this way.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
What error message is it giving you -- already redeemed, invalid code, or just a general error message. If you sign out of you account and just enter the promo code at your checkout cart before signing in to your account, is the code recognized and then what happens when you sign in. I guess you also clear cache/cookies to see if there is some persistant memory that's blocking it, or try another browser and see if the second code is working
That would be a bummer if they've found a way to make these Unique ID codes into a "Single Use Promo" like the other online codes that LaserMovies posts. It will really be sad if that follows to the in-store and they finally attach the promo offer to your membership despite having the unique code. I can't see how they'd block a nonmember from using multiple Unique ID coupons, but it would put a major crimp in the

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I just saw: "Barnes & Noble, which plans to split into two companies next month, has tapped Sears Canada CEO Ronald Boire to lead the bookseller's retail business." The struggling B&N is going to hire a CEO from ... Sears, the poster child of dinosaur retailing with outdated stores, junky clothing inventory, and an inability to do anything with quality brands like Land's End? This has nothing to do with coupons, other than we're watching B&N die in real time.

Is the "get a $75 gift card, get $15 back" deal still going on? I would love to finally get the Zatoichi set and the more discounts I can get on that box set, the better.
