Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Even if this is possible, still not sure how many really good deals exist...but figure I'd try to find out before wasting a lot of time looking online.

Guess I could call the store & try to find out.
There were a few sort of recent posts about doing ship to home orders with some black Friday online deals. So I don't see why it wouldn't work. However because of the current b2g1f sale online prices for a lot of DVDs have been inflated to 15% to 20% off. Not too many good online prices at the moment.

I ended up getting some of the Disney/Pixar stuff that doesn't seem to go on sale that much...

Sleeping Beauty blu + Cars blu + Ratatouille blu + 15% off coupon = $58. Not an absolute steal, but I think it will beat DD 20% (or will it be 25%?) by a couple bucks. That's all I was able to find with the b2g1...

I have Visa with a credit union. You'd think visa would be sending it to more cardholders.

It seems that the member discount isn't stacking with the free shipping links, again.

I just tested it and it's working for me. However I often notice my membership initially will not work when using the free shipping links. For some reason the links remove my membership number. You may need to re-enter your membership number during checkout.

Thanks Laser,

Instead of signing in after starting the checkout process, I signed in then went to my cart and all worked as expected.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Even though it's not a super-amazing deal, I did the B2G1 (plus 10% off coupon) for a few $20 DVDs that aren't available everywhere:

~The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb
~The Cabinet Of Dr Caligari (Kino Restored)
~HG Wells' The Things to Come (DVD Empire says it's OOP)

After tax & coupon, it totalled to about $42. I do like that B&N accepts Paypal, unlike Amazon, Borders or DeepDiscount.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

You can get some decent prices with B&N's after-holiday sale. They have a bunch of MGM, Fox, & WB DVD's for about 50% off (but these aren't part of the B2G1).

They also have most Legend Films DVDs for $8.99. This includes the Paramount titles like Phase IV, and the (egh) colorized public domain titles w/ Mike Nelson commentary. (but, again, not part of the B2G1)

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

bump for an invaluable thread.

Does anyone see any current coupons that work with books B&N deems "textbooks"? I'm coming up blank. TIA.

Coupons for Textbooks

drh4 -

The only coupons I know of that work with textbooks are those that take off a dollar amount on an entire order. I used code D7H3N4U ($5 off $40 purchase) last week on a 'textbook'. Not the greatest percent off ever, but it's better than nothing. Interestingly, I did NOT fit the criteria listed in the top paragraph of the coupon.

There are two such coupons on LASERMOVIES's main list. And while I'm at it, a big thank you to LM for keeping up that list. I would never have known about some of the unusual coupons if not for you, LM.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

After watching a quick download of an M Squad episode last night I decided to buy the recently released series set. Unfortunately, most had it for $90 ($120 list). Then I noticed it ended up in the BN after christmas sale for $60. After using a 10% off coupon, free shipping, and tax it came out to $57.

Got lucky I guess since I only looked last night and I guess the sale ended today so I slipped in with a few hours to go. Great deal.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know those coupons worked on textbooks even though the fine print says they are not eligible. Since B&N started issuing these coupons they have been releasing a new one every month. Another new coupon may show up within the next few weeks to replace the one expiring in about a week.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Thanks again for the updated first post. I just used a 15% coupon in conjunction with a cashback site to get Coltrane's Impulse! Albums vol. 3 for about $31. Not too shabby.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

why can't B&N just sell DVDs in-store, on sale, on release day? they suck.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I noticed Barnes and Noble has a few blu-ray titles marked down. If you have a membership, use a $5 off coupon, and free shipping links you can get some decent prices. Here's a list of some titles I saw with members discounts. It's possible there are more titles I missed but thought I would post this for anyone interested.

$16.19 Babel

$16.19 Dreamgirls

$16.19 Ghost

$16.19 Into the Wild

$16.19 The Usual Suspects

$16.19 Top Gun

$16.19 Reds

$21.59 There Will Be Blood
