Thanks for the 30% off coupon. I stand to spend more money with this coupon than I did during the Criterion sale. For anyone that collects art books, these are the best prices around.

Has anyone used the 30% coupon twice? It told me that it's once per billing address when I tried it, even when using a different account.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I used the 30% coupon to order The Pillars of the Earth for $31.49, plus $1.57 sales tax = $33.06. Best price otherwise is at Amazon, where it is $34.95, so I really didn't save very much. (I forgot to try linking through AAA so I don't know if the coupon would have worked had I done so.)

The coupon would not have worked with the AAA link. Your best bet when using coupons, is to use one of the online rebate links. Or if you have a Discover card, Shopdiscover gives you 10% back and it works with coupons.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

This may not qualify as a "coupon" per se, but didn't find anything else about this, and it may be a Black Friday sale, or something that's, well, nothing:

I put a DVD in my shopping cart, and at the very bottom, where it tells me how much more I can add for free shipping, it shows a sale for "3 (qualifying) for $20." Here's the link:

http://video.barnesandnoble.com/cont....asp?PID=33227

Buuut, when I click the genre links to see what qualifies, it goes to a screen that says my search is "invalid."

Make of this what you may.

I think you might get a better price if you ordered at a store and did a ship to home order with the coupon. If they have the BBS set at a store I believe it will probably be at full list price at around $125. Online it is currently $99, which is still not a great price. However if you can order it with the 30% coupon it would knock the price down to about $70.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just added a second 30% online coupon code to the list on the first page that should be valid for all customers.

Also check your emails for personal 30% coupons from B&N. I received one last night on account I seldom use.

This is what I tried to do, but the coupons won't work for me online for whatever reason.

What the F? They sent me notice of shipment on my BBS on Monday. Today, the tracking shows it hasn't even been picked up by the Post Office.

The BBS set currently does not qualify for online coupons. I'm talking about printing out a 30% store coupon and going to a B&N brick and mortar store to do a ship to home order to get around the online coupon restrictions. A lot of stores usually will do that for you.

I'm still waiting for my copy and hope it shows up by Friday. Did it ship by Argix-USPS? That's how they shipped mine. From prior experience on a recent order with them it won't show up in the tracking system until they dump it off at the post office for final delivery. They seem like they are a little slower than UPS. If B&N shipped it by UPS I probably would have had it today.

I just tested it and it was working for me. What are you trying to buy? That might be the problem.

The coupon should work with that title. Are you trying to use one of the links on the first page? The only one that seemed to work was the Visa link for free shipping.

I know what happened. Looks like it is a member coupon. I think they changed the wording because I could have sworn it said for all customers yesterday. I'll have to change it on the first page. Sorry!

Unfortunately tracking with Argix is useless until almost the last stage of shipping. My BBS set finally made it into the USPS tracking system because Argix dumped it off at the post office this morning. It's now showing out for delivery and I should have it by the afternoon.

Hmmmm.

One more day left on my membership- and I still have a 30% online coupon to use.

Now what to get...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Thanks again LASERMOVIES for the codes. I just bit on BTTF Blu-ray for $27.99 and already purchased Life: David A. Blu-ray version earlier this week. Add that to the 14 $5 coupons I used during the Criterion sale and you have "saved" me a lot of money! You are my vote for member of the year.
