I thought this set would be OOP and good deal last time. If I knew this, I would wait. For $15 that's definitely an awesome deal.

Picked up the Morris Engel set and the two film noir collections. Thanks for the heads-up.

I've only seen Solaris. The premise of Stalker sounds interesting. I've read it takes some dedication on the part of the viewer - which I'm willing to invest, but wanted to hear some opinions. I was also curious about the technical aspects of this release, but since I'm not region free at the moment, there doesn't seem to be any options.

This link only lists titles from A-L and I don't see a link to a 2nd page of titles. Am I missing something?

Bummer. I now feel slightly guilty, but I'm sure that it will pass.

Yes, I would like to see the other half of the sale too...

But as it is, I think I might go a little crazy here. Lots of titles I've been meaning to pick up: "Jean de Florette"/"Manon of the Spring", "A Fish Called Wanda", "I Wake Up Screaming", "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", "Blue Velvet", "In the Heat of the Night"...

The XXX code it tells you to put in for the discount doesn't work.

Thanks OP
Some highlights of what I got:

Lubitsch in Berlin - 5-Pack
German Expressionism Collection

And I highly recommend these, especially at these prices:
Fritz Lang - Epic Collection 49.98
German Horror Classics Box Set 34.98
American Silent Horror Collection 24.98
Glamour Girls 24.98

Me, too! What was the price of this set a day ago? With the "shhhh...don't jinx it" sale coming up, is this likely to be the better price? Thanks for any insight.

Yes there's better editions of some of the material, but you'd have to collect box sets from different regions en masse to compile it-- I have the Kino set and I wholeheartedly recommend

Ugh....the Griffith Masterworks box is out of stock. Any idea on how long it typically takes DD to fulfill out-of-stock orders?

Yes, it's a real site. No, the code doesn't work.

They have so many sales going, somebody forgot to input the code.

It was out of stock when the sale was announced. It could take anywhere from a few days to a few months.

I have yet to spring/find a deal on the BFI Svankmajer shorts collection. Is the Kino worthwhile?

thanks, i'm really tempted by it. this sale price looks to be about $30 cheaper than anywhere else, even used, that i can find online. still, $100 is a lot for me to drop on movies right now.

Looks like the before the sale, the set was $131. If you were to wait for the sales in June or November, it would come in at $105, meaning only a savings of ~$5 by ordering now. So if you can wait til money's more plentiful, the difference won't be crippling.
