I've only seen Solaris. The premise of Stalker sounds interesting. I've read it takes some dedication on the part of the viewer - which I'm willing to invest, but wanted to hear some opinions. Yes there's better editions of some of the material, but you'd have to collect box sets from different regions en masse to compile it-- I have the Kino set and I wholeheartedly recommend

thanks, i'm really tempted by it. this sale price looks to be about $30 cheaper than anywhere else, even used, that i can find online. still, $100 is a lot for me to drop on movies right now.

Looks like the before the sale, the set was $131. If you were to wait for the sales in June or November, it would come in at $105, meaning only a savings of ~$5 by ordering now. So if you can wait til money's more plentiful, the difference won't be crippling.
