LOL! Of course I just paid $28.97 ($25.99 plus $2.98 for standard shipping) for this from Amazon.com. Oh, well. You win some, you lose some. Of course, I wouldn't have purchased this from Circuit City. I would have taken the ad and price matched it at Best Buy.

Thanks Speedy! Looks like the Juno 2 Disc prices will be even across the board, so I guess it comes down to whether I want a free tshirt, ipod skins, or the movie script. But with my current lacking funds, I might have to go 1 disc. I guess we'll see.

one of the best boxset ever! if you still have not get it, there is no reason not get it at this price...

I get it 6, 7 years ago when it first came out... I almost feel like to get another copy at this price...

I guess there is no news when it will come out the hi-def version...? even it did, properly not all the wonderful extra will be port over to Blu-ray...

Seeing it going so low at so many places makes me think that a Blu-Ray version is pretty close.

The Quadrilogy has been out since late 2003. Hell, in December of this year, it will be five years this set has been out--which is an amazingly long time for a set to be in production and still in warehouses around the world.

It wouldn't surprise me if the studios are getting rid of these so they can sell the two-disc title editions for $10 "on sale" per title or something.

Not to mention, the design of the Alien Quad set is horrible, and one of the most retarded ways to hold 9 DVDs I've ever seen.

I would imagine an HD version is coming, but who knows when. But if there is indeed a Blu-ray Alien Quadrilogy, it won't be cheap. Probably around $99.99-$149.99, and of course, single releases will probably come out first, knowing how the marketing strategy is.

Before this past week, I would have said yes. CC had Black Friday prices online with free shipping and most every other sale has been online. However, that all change this past week when I could not find one 50% off sale on HD DVD even though the ad said "select titles online". Who knows?

What I do know is that I am going to stop by CC and buy it if I can now and then price match come next Sunday!
