Saw all the individual seasons of Six Feet Under for $16.49 last night...that's a fantastic price. Too bad I already have them.

Picked them all up last weekend as a blind buy. Watching them now for the first time. Fun show so far.

Season 2 is easier to get off their spindles than a lot of things I own, but all my discs were spindled properly.

Jonh Wayne/John Ford Set

I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but I went in looking for "The Searchers" 50th Anniversary edition, which I'd seen there for something like $25 earlier. I instead found the "John Wayne/John Ford Box Set" including "The Searchers" for $27.99. So I paid around $3 for six high quality westerns, including an SE of "Stagecoach." Not bad.

I saw many of Warner 2 disk sets for $8.99 today.

Citizen Kane
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Once Upon A Time In America
Yankee Doodle Dandy
Chariots of Fire
Meet Me In St. Louis
Singin' In The Rain
Around The World in 80 Days
My Fair Lady

There were others.

They were near the check out rather than in the regular DVD section.

Dawson's Creek season sets for $12.99 each.

I remember when those WB discs were $5 each at BB, and came with a free bonus disc and movie ticket for each one. Fun times.

$12.99 Memento Ltd ed. 2-disc
$12.99 Taxi Driver Coll. ed. 2-disc
$8.79 Angelina Jolie 3-movie (Mr & Mrs Smith, Life or Something Like it, Pushing Tin)
$8.79 Sandra Bullock 3-movie (Speed, Love Potion #9, Hope Floats)

They had Dexter Season 2 out a week early for $24.09 but the bastards wouldn't let me buy it. They said I could buy it tomorrow which I'm not sure I want to bother because they sent someone to pull the product off the floor. Chances are they won't put it back out til next week and I don't want to waste a trip.

Today I saw a separate display (away from the general DVD area) with Fox TV box sets for $19.99: Prison Break (Seasons 1 & 2), Boston Legal (Seasons 1-3), Bones (Season 2, can't remember if S1 was there or not)

I believe this is an instant $6 rebate which brings price down to $19.99. Rebate expires 8/21 per sign in my Costco.

Our first Costco is opening today.

I've never been to one but I already have a membership and I'm hoping to go later today.

Are they any good on Blu-rays?

They're currently in line with other stores but there are bargains to be found if you look (and sometimes dig)

Sounds great for dinner tonight.

Anything else either DVD related or otherwise?
