My Target is selling the old 1-disc version for $14.99 and the 2-disc for $9.99. The 2-disc set has a much better transfer. Worth the upgrade.

when i ordered this from best buy for $8.99 I thought i was getting a great deal, I was wrong... But Braveheart is well worth it. When is this going to come out in Blu-Ray?

It's inevitable release on BD is my only hesitation...I love this flick, but have no plans to double dip on SD-DVD. Thanks for the heads up, though. I'm sure many will be able to take advantage of the bargain due to your post.

Your post is confusing to me. First you say you were wrong thinking $8.99 was a good deal for it, then you say Braveheart is well worth it.

I upgraded mine for $8.99 and gave my original DVD to a friend who never saw the movie.

I keep going back and forth with this. Not sure if it's worth a double dip. The SD I have have now barely gets used. I think I'll hold off for now. I want a freakin hd release.

This won't be on Blu-ray for awhile since this is a Paramount title (being that whenever Paramount decides to "go Blu" again), so this is a great deal. Thanks for the heads up.

Watch out for the 2-disc Gold Academy Award Winning version, Target lists it for $14.99. It's the same as the Regular 2-disc set that sells for $9.99.
