The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie: Sing-Along Songs and More is available at Christian bookstores (B & M and online) and possibly some mainstream DVD stores, for about $10. Enclosed is HollywoodMovieMoney worth $8 for a kid's ticket for The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie, being released by Universal on 1/11. (It may be useable for another film.) The coupon is good until 1/25.

I added a listing for the Pepperidge Farms Fred Clause Sweepstakes. There is an instant win on-line portion of the sweepstakes giving away sets of four (4) Hollywood Movie Money tickets good for any movie. The game ends on January 15, 2008 so get there soon.
Good luck! |

@Peep
There's a separate slim DVD case of "In the Name of the King" with a preview disc inside. It has a $7.50 price tag. |

@ ga5vin -- Too many acronyms in the world today. I know SMP as a computer term. I looked it up on an acronym website and found 250
different definitions. Luckily my daughter knew SMP was "specially marked packages" off the top of her head. I added -SMP- indicators into the table. SMP is pretty much a "common knowledge" thing except for these offers where the tickets are seperate (i.e. The Name of the King Best Buy promotion)@ blue888 -- speedy1961 listed the ticket as "Free Movie Cash on Pack" in his weekly Best Buy prices thread. @ Michael Corvin -- Thanks! I hope you don't mind the changes. @ All -- Speaking of changes, table entries are in expiration date order: either by the ticket expiration or the offer expiration....whichever is the limiting factor. Expiring table entries will "fall off" the bottom of the table. --- Also, I dropped the "Starting" column. I figured any information in the column could be added into the details column. Besides, I needed the space. ![]() |

"In the Name of the King" Movie Money
I picked up one of the "In the Name of the King" movie money tickets at Best Buy. This is a 20th Century Fox promotion in that you have to purchase one of 28 fox titles to get the movie money for free. The ticket comes with a preview disc for "In the Name of the King". The disc contains three scenes from the movie and three previews: "In the Name of the King", "The Hit Man", "Aliens vs Predator Requiem".
For Fox to fill seats at the theater during the opening weeks of "In the Name of the King", this promotion should have started 30 days earlier. The "SuperBad" tickets are a good example as they seems to be available weeks before the movie opened. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I've been looking for the Welch's juice -SMP- in Atlanta area grocery stores without success. |

Was in Best Buy today. It's not just the Transformers, Charlotte's Web and Lemony Snicket that have the Spiderwick ticket. I picked-up two copies of Failure to Launch (ugh) for $4.99 a piece with a free ticket. I can gift these away. Sorry I can't recall many of the titles though. (Mean Girls, Stardust were two.)
The ticket is different too. It's a small sticker on the outside of the package. You peel off the sticker, go to the web site and enter the unique code. You then print-off the movie money as an Adobe Acrobat file. Saves them on printing tickets and packaging them, but I can't see why unethical people won't just rip-off the stickers without paying for the movie. |

Also, I had the ticket for "In the Name of the King" but it is out of theaters prior to the Feb. 18th expiration. I contacted Hollywood Movie money and they told me to mail in the non-expired certificate and within a week I had a generic certificate good for any movie up to $12.50! Great customer service! So, if you know a movie is a stinker and has a short shelf-life this is a great deal!

I went into Best Buy today and also noted they had tickets to Semi-Pro with purchase of select New Line titles. I don't remember them all... but I do recall that the ticket is free with the purcahse of Mr. Woodcock, Rush Hour (1-3), Dumb and Dumber (Unrated or the old WS/FS disc), Wedding Crashers, Wag the Dog (priced at $14.99, yikes!), A Prarie Home Companion, Tenacious D, and I think a few others. Don't know what the ticket is valued at, though (couldn't find the amount on the package).
Also, good luck with the Circuit City deal on the Vantage Point tickets. I went there today and they had no clue what I was talking about. I showed them the ad and than they were like it is only on specially marked packages so I walked them over to the box and showed them that not one DVD was specially marked showing the ticket included. I said why don't you type Vantage Point in your computer or look in the back and than they basically just said sorry and went back to helping other customers. Great customer service indeed. |

I took a walk around Circuit City looking for the tickets to no avail. There was no in-store mention of the ticket, so I skipped it. I had just gone through a walk around Best Buy with their sales people trying to determine where the tickets were located.

I had the same experience at CC today. There were two boxes of the tickets that they finally found in the back, they say they have a value up to $10.00 on them. I picked up "Donnie Brasco" (the 2007 release, extended cut) with the shiny slipcover, too. Also picked up the Richard Pryor stand-up double feature, although I don't know if I'll keep this. They didn't have much left when I got there today, but considering I got two tickets worth more than the movies themselves, for a movie I probably would have seen anyway, I can't complain.
Expires 03/30/08, by the way. |

Is that SEMI-pro ? At my CC they had a display box of some of the qualifying dvds with the tickets that come in their own cardboard sleeve, just tossed in the box with the movies. |
