These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; I'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

I haven't had the chance to see what exactly the deal is, but my Blockbuster got a shipment of Blades of Glory Bobbleheads. Not sure if it's paired with the DVD or what.

Just got word that we will have an exclusive box sleeve that will hold both deathproof and planet terror available when you buy deathproof and reserve planet terror. quantities very limited,

also both will have posters with digital signatures from the directors.

have not seen the pic yet, but the description is that it will feature artwork from each movie. i'll will post it as soon as I see it though.

How does ordering from BestBuy.com worth with bonus discs? I see on promo for Blades of Glory and get another title for $20 mentions the bonus disc.. But if I order the disc individually, what are the chances they'll mail a copy with the bonus disc?

i concur. and if you place your order, receive no bonus disc, call bestbuy cs, and request a bonus disc, getting the bonus disc is even iffy-er.

YMMV, but I would not plan on getting the bonus if I ordered online, or even in-store pickup.
It doesn't matter what the description says, or what your receipt shows. The packer will just as likely pick up a copy without the bonus.

Walmart has an exclusive bonus disc packaged with Heroes Season 1 that includes 4 episodes of Friday Night Lights and a Sneak Peek at Bionic Woman.

Of course this'll be moot in a few hours, but it might not contain 45 minutes. The Ugly Betty bonus disc only contained 14 minutes of their Q&A session.

Ok, the blockbuster exclusive with Blades of Glory is a free bobblehead. I've only seen the Will Ferrel character, not sure if there's a Jon Heder one. Honestly not too great of one either, but hell, it's the only non giftcard exclusive they've had in like a year.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but could someone please post the content of the Best Buy bonus disc for Blades of Glory? My store still has these, but I'm trying to determine if all of the features on the bonus disc are on the HD-DVD.

I searched many threads, many websites, and even Ebay. The most detail I found said Outtakes, Featurette, Interviews, Bloopers, but there were no specifics. I was going to post this in the main forum, but someone else asked a similar question and was referred to this thread, even though there is no detail in here, and that thread has been locked. Thanks in advance!
