Agreed. And it wasn't like I was asking just for the bonus disc. I said I would buy the 2-Disc then and there, insuring they were getting a sale and they still said no. They'd rather have the loss of a sale.

Out of the seven stores I went to, 5 of the people I talked to were managers. They were very adamant that I could only get the disc if I pre-ordered. One manager (the one at an FYE in Pasadena) even said that they'll return any bonus discs they had left to their corporate office (which I didn't believe).

Sucks for me!

So, anyone pick up the Disturbia set from Wal-Mart yet?

Just trying to figure out if it's worth getting, or just to get the regular version.

FYI the Walmart 2-pack did not come with an actual dvd, it was a credit card type insert that you can download exclusive stuff...I am creating a new post about Disturbia dvd which is going to be very interesting!

In my opinion the online stuff was not worth the extra $5, there was a downloadable Disturbia game, some downloadable wallpaper and a making of feature I believe.

has anyone seen the "Disturbia" lenticular slipcover at Target and is that a Target exclusive? What I want to know is if the slipcover is crap like "Final Destination 3" or nice like "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"?

The lentiuclar cover is not Best Buy exclusive. I saw them at Circuit City and Target. Can't comment on quality since I haven't seen the covers for Final Destination 3 or Goblet of Fire.

The only Blockbuster "exclusive" this week is that you get a 5 dollar gift card if you buy Disturbia.

Yeah, I think it is assumed that WalMart and Sam's Club often have the same exclusives. I don't think Sam's Club has ever had anything unique to just them, save perhaps packaging of titles together.

Could you clarify? Which DVD cover is not exclusive to Best Buy? We have no exclusive cover to them this week. Did you mean Disturbia, and Target? Thanks.

went to Costco today. the one item they had listed as a costco exclusive was:

"The Complete Idiot's Guide to Simple Home Improvements" CD-Rom with purchase of "Are We Done Yet?"... don't think anyone from this forum will be racing out to get that, but nevertheless, it is a Costco exclusive.

i also noticed they had a Monk: Seasons 1-4 Box Set ($104.99) and a Best Of: Saturday Night Live 10-DVD Box Set ($46.99) which collected previously released Best Of's from the likes of Christopher Walken, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Dan Akroyd, Phil Hartman, etc. don't know if either of these are exclusive to Costco, but I haven't seen them anywhere else, so I assume they might be.
