Just wanted to inform about the eStarland sale:
They only take off 70% off of the cheapest items in the order, so unless all your. items are the same price, then this is hard to overlook. And even separating the orders by price will make it even worse, for they charge $4 +$1 every additional item PER order. any thoughts? |

Estarland usually has a decent selection of used anime, the only thing that sucks is they have over 1,000 dvds and you can only view 10 at a time.
I'll have a look through it when i get back from work. I remember the last time took me around 2 hours. |

Secondspin is a coupon where when you buy 4 cd's (they have tons for 99 cents) you enter the code "4TOGET20" and get 20% your entire order of cds, games & movies. The coupon expires 8/9.
They have 9 copies of the FMA Vol 1 LE w/ Tin for $65.99 ($52 after coupon). A lot of the Funimation stuff seems to be marked down as well (Rumbling Hearts complete series w/ box for $39 after coupon). Secondspin accepts all Transworld store (FYE, Suncoast, Wherehouse) credit. |

I need some Robotech help here. I was looking into buying this series but also wanted to get the japanese series too (macross, etc.) I was wondering how different Robotech was from the other japanese series that make it up? If i got Robotech would it be pointless to get the japanese series or are they that different in edits and such, that they are totally different shows? Would i feel like im watching the same show over again but in japanese? Hope i made sense.

Robotech completly changed the music, names, and some major plot points to stitch the three series all together. When comparing Macross at least to the first portion Robotech it feels like watching two completly shows.
While I have seen/own Genesis Climber Mospeda and Southern Cross Calvery, I havn't seen the Robotech portion in a looong time to compare the two. I prefer to watch Anime subbed anyways so I'm a little biased. |

I was wondering about the Hellsing Ultimate Steelbook Editions, I was able to pick up the Steelbook only edition from Best Buy today for the first volume, which is the store that has the Steelbook only of Volume 2, and do we know who gets the exclusive for the 3rd?
