To add to that, you can do a survey when you sign up and get your first $10 of the $100 spending requirement.

Cool, I signed up this afternoon (saw it one of speedy's threads). I don't think this applies to the PS3, but since I spend quite a bit over there, it's worth it!

To get really picky for a moment, the little console that has been kicking all 3 of their asses is a thing called the PS2 - home of the two hottest franchises in console gaming: GoW and GH. (If anyone wants to highlight how dysfunctional things are with the PS3 at the moment, try and fathom why there aren't PS3 versions of these games out - and why you can't even play the PS2 version of GH on a PS3).

But I digress. I was ->thisclose<- to buying a PS2 off ebay, had the auction up and everything, when I saw Speedy's news being reported on another forum. The $100 is enough to sway me so I'm buying, and Speedy can take 100% of the credit.

The PS2 isn't kicking the Wii's ass, in terms of current sales. The Wii has been selling like hotcakes, constantly beating the sales of every home console since it has launched. If you are talking about installed base, then, yes, the PS2 has a leg up, but, of course, it's been out forever.

However, I was talking about the current crop of home consoles, not past consoles, and in that regard, the Wii is kicking the asses of the XBOX 360 and PS3.

They may have a better share of the market, BUT there have only been around 100,000 standalone non-PS3 Blu-Ray players sold. Plus, software has been soft, considering the DEPARTED is the only title to sell 100,000 titles (combined between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD). Hardly "impressive" sales.

Most of the useless banter, threadcraps, arguing and off topic posts have been deleted.

DirkBelig, stay out of this thread please. If you wish to debate, go to the HD Forum.

and as Tarantino and others have kindly said, Please, everyone who wants to debate PS3/XBox, HD/BR, please keep the discussion to the appropriate threads. This thread is for pricing and sales only.

So, the Donnie Brasco, is that really the extended cut? That barely just came out, and I've seen it for some wildly ranging prices (like 13.00 one store, and nearly 30 at another). Is it actually the new cut?
