Thanks for answering all my questions so far (hopefully I don't have too many more). I don't buy anime on a normal basis so I tend to be a little behind.
From glancing through my collection (need to do a closer look to find others), I noticed I need to get Devil Lady Complete Collection (cheaper than getting the volumes I am missing) and Revolutionary Girl Utena: Rose Collection/Movie. Checking around online at the stores I usually use, I notice they are listed as OOS/backordered. Should I be worried at this point and pick them up used where available? The best prices I found are BestBuy kiosk for Devil Lady ($10), and dvdpacific for Revolutionary Girl (~$27). |

I was just looking over the BB website to determine what to pickup with my next paycheck and I am planning on picking up
My-HiME Vol. 7 + Artbox My-Otome Vol. 1 + Artbox The only thing I can't understand is HiME is $29.99 and Otome is $44.99. They are essentially the same thing, so why the price difference?

There are a bunch of new $3 Anime titles at Big Lots.
Looked like they were all from Bandai. Gundam, King Gainer, Hoop Days, Angel Tales, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop Best Sessions, DICE, Zentrix, Immortal Gran Prix. |

Maybe it's the differance between watching a volume every other month and getting to sit through the whole thing at once. Or maybe Todd is just wrong. A couple of people on AoD mention their copy of GitS:SSS had the security bar sticker placed underneath one of the discs and it became stratched.. Any of you guys that got your noticed this?

Early on in the show there was some REALLY bad animation. Characters walked like they had broken arms and legs. It was very awkward to watch. However, I never felt the character designs were bad. They were all incredibly beautiful. Kyoko's hair alone made me astonished everytime she was in a scene. I thought the animation was amazing...until people moved. It did get a lot better later on. For $46 dollars I'd recommend it. It's freakin' packed with extras (some good, some not so good). If you like LOTS of interviews with the cast, then picking up the singles would be wise. |
