No sign of 2 dics Escape from New York at my local Wallys. They had the one disc version but I will hold out for the 2 dics.

Managed to score one of the two disc versions at my local WM. They only had one of the two disc and 5 or so of the one disc version. I already had the one disc version that I had bought on sale when Eckerd's was getting rid of their DVDs. I had paid a whopping $1.12 for it, easily the least I ever paid for a DVD that wasn't in a cardboard sleeve.

None of these were at either Super WalMarts, though both now changed their bins. One was 2 for $10, the other just said $5...

I picked up:

T2 (last copy that I saw)
The Truman Show
Galaxy Quest
First Blood

Of course, the main one that I wanted - My Cousin Vinny - no where to be found at either of the Wal-Marts here!

I had to dig a bit for My Cousin Vinny....It's in a gold slip cover by the way so it will stand out.

Found Escape From New York 2-Disc at my local Wal-Mart. Only saw one copy. I had previously looked twice through the bin for this title and today, when i'm not looking, i'm just passing by the bin and see it hanging out of one of the holes of the bin.

They also had a couple copies of the 2-Disc Running Man. Didn't pick it up though.

Didn't Wal-Mart has a huge price error online when the two disc first came out? I'm thinking it was $9.96? $10.96? some low price which made me (and others on here) buy the DVD online.

LB...

Same EXACT thing happened for me. I figured my Wal-Mart just wasn't getting any, but was walking by the other day and there was a copy just sitting there. I looked high and low for any more so I could hook someone here up, but that was the only copy they had.

You've encouraged me to maybe give the bin another look. I didn't get through even half of it last time, but I hate when people come up to it at the same time and start tossing DVDs you've already looked at back into your side. Wait your fucking turn, jerks! Went to another Wal-Mart today with a smaller bin and did find Running Man: SE. Almost bought it but then thought, "Wait, this is Running Man. Am I ever going to watch this more than once?"

I had to to go there to return a blender that my Mom bought me, I never shop at walmart, but I know they have the $5ish bin because I always see this thread.

So I returned the blender and the cashier gave me an extra $5 back! Presumably because she wasn't paying much attention. She seemed more concerned with making unfunny comments about anything any of her coworkers said. She must be the outspoken clown of the group. So, with the extra $5 I figured I'd check out the cheap dvds.

And I ended up getting:
Dark Blue $5
Amistad $5
Tigerland $5
Green Street Hooligans $4.88

I only saw a couple of the titles mentioned in the first post, most were all different. This is about all I can remember for titles in the bin:
Syriana
Stuck On You
Devil's Own
SK's Desperation
15 Minutes
Blood Work
Sideways

I ended up getting Tigerland and the Escape From New York: Collector's Edition for $5 each. I saw the SE of The Running Man in there, too. I'll have to go pick that up.

No shit, how many walmart threads do we need? I posted in the other one yesterday because it was on top, but now everyone's posting in this one.

Please mod, merge these threads!

A SE of Freddy Got Fingered? No, I will not double-dip on this one if there is a SE coming up. Although I like the movie very much, I do not need another DVD showing a guy from Canada giving a hand job to an elephant.

Saw these:

Baby's Day Out
Beverly Hills Ninja
The Beverly Hillbillies
Black Sheep
Daddy Day Care
Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry met Lloyd
Encino Man
Hot Pursuit (Paramount)
Last of the Red Hot Lovers
The Lonely Guy
Pleasantville
Son in Law
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2-disk WB version-WS)
Three Men and a Baby
Uncle Buck

And... the dump bin at both stores near me are now the "single layer" type with chips on the bottom. One is still very nicely kept. The other still looks like a monkey set it up.
