Found alot of Nightmare on Elm Streets, and Friday the 13ths (including Jason X) in the bin. They also had the three Exorcist movies (including the original), The Haunting (Liam Neison), and Rosemary's Baby.

version you've never seen, naturally.

I think there'd be a good bit more hullabaloo if they'd actually come across copies of that now-overpriced bit of (out of print) fun.

What he said. I also forgot to mention that at my Wal-Mart it rang up as $7.50 until they price adjusted it.

Mine, too.

Still not sure about it--I've never seen this version and hear bad, bad things.

We are talking about the 25th Aniv. edition with the Fear of God doc? Did that go out of print fairly recently? Earlier this year I saw several new copies of it in a Kroger's grocery DVD display and I bought one for my collection. But, when I checked Amazon, it appeared to be a so-so deal at the $5.99 price I paid for it so I didn't sound any alarms here on dvdtalk.

Which Kicking and Screaming? The shitty Will Farrel movie or the awesome flick from like 1994?

Oh is the good version only available as a Criterion? That is the version i had but i just naturally assumed a mainstream movie (well... i guess not mainstream... but not art house or foreign) would also have a regular non-Criterion edition.

So ignore my question.

for the fans of offbeat musicals, shock treatment is a semi-sequal of sorts to the rocky horror picture show, it does have some good songs and is entertaining, if not quite as good as rocky horror, but if you like rocky horror you should like this as well, as it is very much in the same genre. I picked up my copy last year as a part of the walmart halloween sale. by the way, I believe that rocky horror is a part of this year's walmart halloween display

in my opinion, every will farrel movie is shitty, every time I see one of his films, I ask myself, how did this guy become a star? surely not from talent.

May have to pick that up. I'd passed on it before hoping for the real soundtrack to make it on a release. But for $5, I could hold my nose.

I grabbed this today. The bonus DVD is Jules Verne's Mysterious Island (2005 with Patrick Stewart and Kyle MacLachlan.) Both are mini-series so you get about 6 hours worth of cheese for $5. The same company that released this set is also releasing the Mysterious Island TV series from 1995 in November.

I have seen this version of Mysterious Island and Patrick Stewart does play a pretty good Captain Nemo.

Yes. Here's amazon link to the Nic Cage triple feature. I think Nic Cage/Naked Gun sets are 3 disc each and the others are 1 disc. I was there getting batteries for work and just took down some notes. Might go back and grab a couple of the 3 disc sets for Christmas presents.

Wow those are some great deals, though I have all the ones I want. Might be worth a look though to see if there's any other double/triple features available. Haven't a number of these been part of the $7.50 display?
