I picked up the Running man 2disc SE. This newer transfer is way worth an upgrade for 5 bucks.

Looks like the 2 disc Running man and EFNY is everywhere but rare in numbers. I asked the clerk how many of them they had. He said he put them out himself, they had 2 copies of each ( And I was holding the last copies of both). Said that they had about 20 copies of the regualer case of EFNY. Plus, he said to expect "ALOT" of new 5 dollar titles in july. He wasn't sure exactly what they were, but he said it might be alot of the 7.50 titles.

The two Dallas-area stores I checked (Irving & Carrollton) didn't have the 2-disc EFNY, but had about 8 copies of the single disc. The Irving store actually had a display case for the $5 discs instead of the dump bin.

My Local Walmart Dump Bin is now $5...

Not sure if anyone else has seen this. But here in New England (MA specifically) the local Walmart Dumpbin was lowered this week to $5 or 2 For $10. This morning the DB was absolutely overflowing with alot of new ones I have never seen in there before. All 3 Deluxe Edition Rambo movies, A whole bunch of Stephen King movies including Running Man 2 disk set. Saw a bunch of dvd's with slipcases also like The Ninth Gate, The Clearing, Freeway and some others. It was truly amazing how many top notch dvds they had!

I'll have to check it out at mine next time I'm in there. My dump bin hasn't had anything worthwhile in it in months now.

I picked up 2 DVDs from the dumpbin over the weekend and noticed that they rang up at $5 instead of $5.50. The sign still read "2 for $11" though.

I read in a different thread a few days ago that this was going to be a widespread change throughout Walmarts across the USA.

Is the 50 cent difference enough to motivate you to purchase something that you had once passed on??? They should have made the price 4.99 (well, 4.96 since it is WM). Then many people go by the misconception that it is only $4 now instead of $5... I just think this price drop is kinda funny... I remember in the beginning the bin was $5. They raised it to 5.88, then down to $5.50. But it's been that way for a while now...

I take it you were able to find one since you have one up for trade? I saw an extra one at my Walmart yesterday and probably will be going back later today and can see if it is still there, but don't want to buy it if no one actually needs it.

most of these are DVD's that have been in the dump bin before and really didnt find anything too new or exciting in this new batch

I didnt find any EFNY but they did have some Escape from L.A.'s (with new cover art) in the display.

"The Omen SE" at mine was the single disc, not the 2 DVDs.

I'd snatch up a Road to Perdition if they'd just let a widescreen copy surface to the top! I'll have to check on Escape from New York next time I'm rolling through.

Best $5 pick from the bargain pick I've had? Galaxy Quest.
