^YEs it can...Ended up getting some dragon dynasty titles (fatal contact: 2-disk UE; Infernal Affairs 1/2) with the $5 off $30 coupon and ended up with gettng my order shipped for $27.74. (which worked out to a few dollars less than DD 20% off sale.)

I wish they had more coupons now though like one for a big order. I would have liked to have done an order wth The Ice Storm: Crterion and more Dragon Dynasty titles.

According to a customer rep, a few people are having difficulty getting the new code to work. She told me to go ahead and place the order without the coupon, and then email dvdempire with the order # and explain about the coupon. They will then add the discount to your order.
EDIT: Five minutes after I sent them an email, I received a reply telling me I had been given the discount.
