Star Wars trilogy (4-disc) $22.49 NEW at Game Stop / EB Games (YMMV)

Many of you that frequent Game Stop / EB might remember how when the Star Wars box set (silver for WS, gold for FS) was released, the chain over-ordered on new copies. Frequently you'd see several of them sitting inside the cage under a dump bin priced at a ridiculous $50, until finally many stores bricked together their overstock and buried them in the back room.

Friday night I was talking to a Game Stop manager, and he told me that GS finally decided to get rid of the overstock by selling the new sets for the same price as the used ones, $22.49. He didn't have any, but I knew of another store that had a lot so I went there today. I ended up getting 3 sealed WS copies for $44.98 after 10% discount, B2G1F and taxes. $15 each!!!

Most stores probably won't have them on the floor. The one I went to still had them stashed away in the back room, so don't hesitate to ask if you don't see any out for sale.

Any chance you'd want to sell any of the ones you bought? My gamestop doesn't have any.

Sorry, but the extras are spoken for and I have a backlog of people wanting them. If I can hit another location this week and pick up more, you'll be first on the list after I get the other 2 friends taken care of that asked me for one.

If your local store doesn't have them, ask if they'll check with other nearby locations for you.

Psh, who wants distorted abominations of classic films? :P

(but I'm not threadcrapping!! I'm interested in the 4th disc to go with my 2 disc abominations...)
