Is the ad correct? The Ultimate Matrix on HD DVD is 79.99 and the Complete Matrix HD DVD is 89.99. I thought the Ultimate edition should be more expensive.

Speedy...any good TV deals? 50" and up

Also, the Matrix deal seems decent...buy that and get TWO free HD-DVD's. Interesting. $80 for 5 movies.

It appears to be a price mistake.

Check out the CC ad for comparison.

I'm calling it a price mistake that I hope to get in on.

That's certainly a mistake in pricing between the two Matrix Sets.
If these are the prices that are actually printed in the ad we may be able to jump on that Ultimate set before they figure it out....there's also price matching.

Same here, and I thought it was a pretty good deal back then, so I picked up three. The auto power feature on those are pretty annoying though.

That's the reason I bought mine. Preferred that they turn on and off when I turn my PC on and off accordingly. The newer MyBooks (the ones with status and blue circle light) go on standby mode and blink continuously when my PC was turned off, which to me was annoying.

so far it looks like barnes & noble is the best at 34.98 ($31.50 for members) + a 15% COUPON in the B&N thread. ddd is $40.32. bb just has it at list (49.99) so maybe there will be some price movement at some point.

Don't you get that at Best Buy too? Or are we talking about a separate Circuit City rebate and not this one - http://www.thelookandsoundofperfect....fer_advert.pdf ?

The Best Buy ad does NOT mention the 5 free HD-DVD movies.

Online there is a free movie pass to POTC: AWE with the purchase of any number of disney movies. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....at120300050050

Any chance the BR discs will be 2/$50 plus the free ticket?

Is the ticket web only?
