can this be used in conjunction with the 25% new account and will it work on pre-orders?

I wish there was a way for those of us without a AAA membership number could still use the discount, heh.

I don't see why this wouldn't work as long as you have a AAA membership.

Couple weeks ago I bought some TV series @ 50% off and clerk stated they will have in June a B2G1. As far as I know and told it's on track.

I recently got an order from Barnes and Noble, and the back cover of the catalog that came with it said that the "Buy 2, Get the 3rd Free" DVD sale this year is going to run from June 3rd to June 30th.

Cool! Is that sale usually stackable with a discount code?

Yeah, a discount code could be used in conjunction with the sale (at least in the past years it could).

Here's the link to the buy 2 get 1 free sale but it doesn't look like it's active yet.

I got an email for bn.com/nscs for June 2nd - 13th for 10% off. Also 15% off on June 9th.

Thought I'd pass it along.

Details say the offer is good for one order per individual. I guess the days of the B1G1 unlimited orders (w/ free ship-to-home) are over (sigh).

Didn't see any icons, so Laser must be right when guessing that the sale isn't active yet. Hope others will post any good deals they figure out. Would love to get some new items or pre-orders, but I'm guessing that the sale will be limited to clearing out older stock. Still, there will probably be some decent deals to be found.

Thanks for the heads-up, Laser.

The buy 2 get 1 free sale seems to be active already. I just got 3 warner box sets for $57 using a coupon and my members discount. I should get a few more dollars back with my B&N Mastercard. I would jump on this before B&N starts raising prices or stops it. Here's what I ordered.

Tennessee Williams Film Collection $26.38
James Cagney: the Signature Collection $0.00
Paul Newman Collection $26.99

Shipment Subtotal: $53.37
Shipping & Handling: FREE
Sales Tax: $4.13

Shipment Total: $57.50
ORDER TOTAL: $57.50

These are currently on sale already and you can get 1 free if you purchase 2
Elvis - The Hollywood Collection $24.99
Gary Cooper Signature Collection $24.99
James Cagney Signature Collection $24.99
James Stewart Signature Collection $24.99
John Ford Film Collection $29.99
John Wayne Legendary Heroes Collection $23.49
Marlon Brando Collection $29.99
The Marx Brothers Collection $29.99
Paul Newman Collection $29.99
Tennessee Williams Film Collection $34.49
World War II Collection: Battlefront Europe $29.99

A B&N membership will won't stack with the AAA discount. You can only use one or the other but not both on the same order.

Thanks for the heads-up, Laser.

Seems you can do multiple orders. I just completed one order but when I went back a second time it allowed me a free DVD a second time. So far there seems to be no restrictions on DVD selections. Any 3 you add and it gives you the lowest priced DVD in your cart free on the web site.

If you found a couple of other DVDs you would have gotten one free with that one even with the coupon. The B2G1 free deal seems to even be working on pre-orders at the moment. Not sure how long it is going to last.

I'm trying to use one of the 20% off coupons, but it won't work. Does it not work on pre-orders? I was able to get the 15% coupons to work, though...

Which 20% code are you trying to use? I don't know if the first one on the list is working on the sale since I already used it. The other code is a renewal and the new one I added today is not going to be active until June 16. I've had no problems with the 15% codes even on pre-orders.

I believe the restriction has always been there. I have only heard of them enforcing the limit on a few occasions.

I used that one earlier on a pre-order without any problems. Don't know why it wouldn't work today. When you added the coupon did it say anything why it wouldn't work on the order?

I did several online orders and will see if they go through. Some decent deals right now. I have a feeling tomorrow when the sale is supposed to officially start they will restrict what you can purchase and raise a lot of the prices.
