When does this sale end? Anything I add to my cart now says "On Order With Manufacturer".

Hi,

I don't know when the sell will end, but everything on DVDPlanet's site says On Order or things that have already been released recently are showing as a preorder.

Maybe someone with more experience with this retailer can respond. To me it looks like they are either doing site maintenance or they are blocking google checkout.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Jen

Seems to be working again now. At least the items are listed as "In Stock" or "Out of Stock". However when I add any of the B1G1 titles to my cart they aren't showing up as free. Hopefully it is just something temporary.

Same here, I tried to order early and they were on order, now they are in stock, but no discount.

I've been keeping an eye on the Evil Dead Double Book and the Herzog/Kinski sets. As soon as one comes in stock, the other goes out and vice versa. It's no coincidence either, as I've been checking on them for quite a while now.

Went ahead and got Roseanne 1-5 for the girlfriend, 3rd Rock 1-5 for me, and Xena 1-2 just because I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

Season 6 of roseanne is always out. I really want to get that one with another season of xena.

Are there any codes besides Google Checkout working for dvdplanet right now?

I already used the GCO code.

Ordering something that is in stock and something that is out of stock shouldn't be a problem, right? Are people just worrying about that because of GCO?

Also I've never ordered from DVD Planet and am curious about the Economy shipping option. I'm curious if anyone has used it and how long it takes. 7-28 days seems like a pretty big window.

I noticed this only while checking out with 3rd rock from the sun S6 & Grounded for life S4 together.... anyone else facing this problem?

I however managed to order Herzog/Kinski & Alec guiness collections today. Even though the kinski set is showing as temp sod out, upon adding it to the cart it showed us as in stock and I was able to check out using google !

As of RIGHT NOW, the only items showing as OOS are:

Greatest American Hero - Season Two
Herzog/Kinski
Roseanne - Season Six
Yoga Booty Ballet

I just picked up Evil Dead 1&2 and Xena 10th Anniversary Collection. I never watched Xena when it was on, but I figure a "greatest hits" collection should be fun. Weird thing... the Xena set is slightly more expensive ($36.95) than the Evil Dead set, but it only charged me the lesser $33.59 price for the whole order.

Heh, I see someone has apparently set an auto-edit on this site to change "X-E-N-A 10th" to "Glitter 4th" whenver it's typed.

That's just plain weird.

Nobody would celebrate the 4th anniversary of the movie, Glitter. Mariah Carey shouldn't have made that god awful movie...
