It's the kind of math anime fans can really appreciate:

I've already REALLY appreciated it: Tactics Volumes 3, 4, and 5 for $30.13 total. That's awesome.

Noein (2,3,4) and Karas (1 & 2) look mighty tempting. Now I just need another to make an even 6.

If I remember right, each side of the box has a lenticular cover on it, plus one with each volume, making 9 total.

That's a smoking hot deal on the Aoshi franchise for anyone that didn't order it during the RS 25 for $100 sale.

Anyone know if the Samurai Deeper Kyo set for $30 at Best Buy has the same exact discs as the single DVDs? Or are they missing any of the extras?

I have the Samurai Deeper Kyo set and it has all of the original discs and extras. With that said, I wouldn't recommend the series. There's about 0 animation during the majority of the fights, it's really annoying. Hell, I'm in the process of trying to sell my set.

You're not alone. I got Noein Volume 1, but I'm still waiting for Outlaw Star, Genshiken and Giant Robo from the 12 days of Christmas.

For anyone who was on the fence about special ordering the Trigun Sets. I ordered mine on Tuesday and this afternoon i got the call that it is in for me to pick up. You only have to put $6 down, and basically when it comes in, tell them you want to do the B1G1 deal and they'll cancel the special order (giving you a $6 store credit) and treat it as a normal instore purchase.

As for Heat Guy J, its NOT discounted at FYE/Suncoast, unfortunately. So i'd definately advise anyone looking to get the series to get it at Rightstuf for $37.99.

I can't believe that I nearly missed out on Gasaraki again. I haven't seen that set in stock at Rightstuf since they did the 12 days of Christmas sale 2 or 3 years ago now. I don't think it was on the site either or maybe it was, but just at a very expensive price. At $35 it's a bit more than it was when it was on sale then, but is still a great deal and seems to be going OOS again. I also grabbed the Heat Guy J set because for 7 discs at $40 it isn't half bad and I liked what I saw of the show on MTV2 back in the day when they showed anime before the cancelled it only less than a quarter into the show. Man, even if I'm trying to slow down on my DVD consumption, I should still stop by in the Anime thread from time to time just to see what is up. Can't believe I almost missed these two.

I just found out a nice exploit with this B1G1F deal.

Two Texhnolyze Lenticular sets would cost you $45 w/ B1G1 & Backstage Pass (or $50 without the pass)

The trade in value for the Lenticular sets is $54.37 each. So you pay $45-50 for two, then trade them in for a total of $108.74 store credit.

Not a bad deal in my book.

FYE/Suncoast has it in-store for $39.99 and it will qualify for the Geneon B1G1 promotion!

I did however manage to find something that made my jaw drop

Ai yori aoshi volume 1 and artbox! What the heck was that doing there?! It was 14.99. Tenjho was also 14.99. The register biscuit said they didn't qualify for the sale because they were already discounted. Still happy though
Great find on the AYA box.. Still looking for a good price on it..

I assume Suncoast prices as YMMV? I found a couple of the TenTen boxes and ask the cashier to check what they scan in as and it ran up for $34.XX.. Didn't find anything else for the B1G1 free sale, so passed for now..

WTK, I'm sure many people go to other places for general ANIME info already, so I'm not sure it's very usefull to post anything other than deal stuff here, as before.

I find the non-deal stuff clutters up the thread and makes it harder to seperate the "wheat from the chaff".

Does anyone agree/disagree?
