My GF just tried to pick this up for me, but it rang up at $39.99. She was told that it was part of the 6 hour sale in which the price was $18.99, and it was back up to the normal price.

This can't be correct, can it? It didn't feature on the front page of the ad, where 6 hours was mentioned, and the small print on the back page clearly says prices valid 24th and 25th. And having just checked online, it clearly says "Thru 25th".

I believe they mean Season 1 but more persuasive DVDTalkers / CAG'ers could use the misprint to get Season 1 and Season 2 of House. (At least that's what I'll attempt to do..... I mean how can they argue with you on that???? If you need Season 2, push them to say it matches the pictured set. If you need Season 1, push them on the text. I plan to attempt this in 2 separate trips..... Wish me luck )
How'd you do on this speedy? I got it to work myself.

Had a friend check-out with S1 (which rang up $13 price) & I checked out a little while later with S2 (which rang up $50). I acted "shocked" & mentioned that "it was in the sale ad". I had it opened to the page & pointed out the pic. The clerk was like "is that S2?". I said - "it says S2 on the picture" to which she said "ok, we can change that". She didn't even seem to catch or pay attention to the text below the pic.

Since my local Fry's ran out of S1($1 lower price), I figured I'd try this route to get both. After visiting 2 CCs (1st was out of stock on S1), I found one that had both in stock.

I did this way after the "6 hour" sale was over. So, those $13, $15 & $19 sets should still be on sale (Fri & Sat) if they are not on the 1st page.

Does any know if it's possible to do a price match at CC with other Thanksgiving store ads (e.g. BB, Target)? I've done price matches before at CC, but someone mentioned in another thread that they denied a price match to one of the Thanksgiving ads.

I took a few ads to CC yesterday and was told "No!"
There should be signs posted at stores that don't honor price matches on Black Friday.
