I knew that, but I had a previous code already activated (12% off), and it wouldn't (couldn't figure out how to) take it off. So, I tried it using a different account and it worked fine.

There's also a $20 off of $200 coupon that's taking $20 off of any size order. The link is over at FW and you must be a registered member over there for the link to work. I'm not going to post the link to that thread because I'm unsure about how this forum feels about FW. Just thought that I'd give a heads-up. Of course it's not really going to matter since Overstock will be cancelling all of these orders.

Ha, well there's actually a $50 off code, too.

Not sure if it works because the previous coupons are still in effect on my computer. But, if someone wants to try it out. It's funny though, because these coupons have been around for a few days now.

Thanks! I just ordered Cooking Mama for the DS for $5.45.

Hope it goes through.

Well I threw in a couple of $20 orders. I got the Happy Lesson thinpak for $5.29 and my one non-anime order, Veronica Mars Season 2 for $19.31. If they cancel, I hope that we get the $5 coupon. If not, then I just wasted printer ink and paper and I probably made their demon customer list.

EDIT(for bad grammar): threw, instead of through.

Ordered Wedding Peach Season 2 for $10.29 w/ $15 coupon and Utena: Apocalypse Saga for $6.21 w/ $20 coupon. Still couldn't erase my 12% coupon from my other account and I don't feel like making "another" dummy account, so I guess I'm only going to get one coupon (if they do it of course) .

I ordered the Happy lesson thinpak for $5.29 just for the heck of it. Now I'm hoping they will give out $5 coupons. I just can't see them honor these hundreds/thousands of orders!

my ratio of 'unwatched' to 'watched', especially anime and tv series, is woefully high--I'm still making my way through Cardcaptor Sakura, bought during TRSI's *last* bundle deal [even before the Book versions]. It's a blind buy for me, I know nothing about it, except that it's anecdotal humor and got virtually no bad reviews anywhere. I was tempted when it was ~40 at TRSI a couple weeks ago.

Oh well, waiting this long will just make it better when I do get/watch it

The 15$ off seems to be dead. I try to order some dvds and books and it doesnt do any thing on the checkout page. I guess the fix the error.

My backlog is out of control too. All that I can say regarding Azumanga is that you're in for a treat.

Ive been looking at other sites and it seems like hundreds of orders were shipped out from overstock....makes me wonder how much of a beating the site will take with a $20,000+ blow...thats a lot of cash

Thanks for the post, but it was mentioned a couple of days ago. JBM does a great and expeditious job in updating her first post with all of the current deals.

Just got the same email from Outpost. Well, there's still hope, but seeing that the set is OOP (it is isn't it?), I doubt they'll be getting anymore in. Whatever, I can wait it out and see what happens. It's not like they charge your credit card like Overstock.

As for the overstock coupon, it appears people are having their orders shipped. Sort of makes me sad I only ordered two things.

I received this email:

Hello,

Thank you for shopping with Overstock.com. We appreciate your
business!

We regret to inform you that when attempting to process your recent
order we lacked certain needed information and so had to cancel it. We
would be pleased to re-process this order if you would kindly call our
customer service department at 1-800-843-2446.

Thanks again for shopping with Overstock.com. We look forward to
serving you in the future!

Sincerely,

Order Processing Department
Overstock.com

LOL. "Lacked certain needed information" is such BS. I've been shopping with them with the same account for 4 years. The excuses they come up with.

*Well, I just gave them a call and the nice lady on the phone was able to re-process my order. If anybody else received an order number and got their order cancel, try giving them a call.*

My two orders from Overstock.com got shipped!
Thanks again toogood! Too bad they gave a fuss over your order!
Thanks, SBJ for pointing out the $20 off offer!
I wished that I had placed more orders, but I can't really complain!

Same thing happened to me. How odd. My two orders just got tracking numbers. Obviously overstock caught the error, but perhaps they're letting orders go through if they're still making a profit off of it? Maybe there's a certain price threshold that alerts someone there might be a problem with the order? They must of got BOMBARDED with orders though. Maybe they're just not getting to all of them in time.

Today's lesson is: "If you're going to do something: go all out!". I could of easily placed a few dozen more orders. I didn't even get a chance to look at their videogame selection.
