Costco: Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Valley of the Dolls is a cheap two-fer!

I just read on another forum that Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Valley of the Dolls is a two-fer at Costco for $20.99.

And I bought BVD about 24 hours ago.

Valley must be worth $5 or $6. Right?

Yep, it's true. There is a double pack for $20.99. They were even marked $22.99 at my local Costco, but for some reason it scanned at $20.99.

Other notables:

$6 off coupon on Universal DVDs
Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 collector's Deluxe Edition $14.44 each
Friends Seasons Sets $17.99 each
Deadwood Season 1 and 2 $64.99 each
The Family Stone $18.99
John Ford-John Wayne Collection $51.99
Entourage Season 2 $30.99
The Magnificent Seven 2 disc SE $17.99
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid $17.99
Platoon SE $17.99
Dave Chappelles Block Party $18.99

Also saw but don;t remeber the price for:
Darma & Greg Season 1
16 Blocks

I hit my local Costco during lunch. It gets even better. Even though the sticker was $20.99, it rang up as $19.69. YMMV, but I'll take the extra buck!

Same for me, $21.02 total with tax.

They had at least 20 sets in when I went and it looked like I bought the first one.

It truly is amazing how people act when getting an extra $1.30. I bet if it was the other way around, you would want the item for free. Crazy

Give me your extra cash Mr. 2006!

Some people like a bargain. Luckily we're in the correct forum.

And where is the contradiction in that?

If saving $1.30 is a big deal, then a store overcharging a $1.30 should be at least as big a deal - certainly worthy of any accomodation that the overcharged buyer can negotiate - up to and including bedding the CEO's daughter.

Another deal: My local Costco had the Sgt. Bilko set, released several weeks back, and newest Beavis and Butt-Head set for $24.99 each. Strangely, they only had one of each. So keep an eye out for them, if you're interested, but availability may be limited...

Verified @ the 249/FM 1960 location in NW Houston. Stickered with $19.69 price - 2 full boxes.

With the # of sets of Medium, NCIS, Numb3rs, etc($34.99) I saw, you'd think CostCo was going to run some kind of rebate on them - no signs today tho'.

They had two large boxes of BVD/VD with a new sticker of $19.69 over the original $20.99 sticker. I think I was the first to purchase one.

I believe these are $30 each list. What a deal.

I saw ten Sgt. Bilko's plus a box of the Wild, Wild West sets. Never seen the show. Anyone a fan?

Thanks Buford T Pusser for posting this. Awesome deal!! Just picked mine up at the Thousand Oaks, CA Costco, stickered at $20.99 and rang up at $20.99 + another $1.73 of tax. They had probably another 30 sets of these. I really only wanted Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, but for this price, I guess I'll give Valley of the Dolls a view as well.

Thanks again!

Went to the one in Eugene, didn't see it... They seem to be later in getting things. I finally saw the Patton and other Fox DVDs with the free X3 ticket. Previously they only had F4, Kingdom of Heaven and Donnie Darko.

Might check back next week.
