A Note Concerning Searching for Products

There isn't really a good way to searching for products in DDD. If you can't locate an item try to spell it differently or not be as specific. If that doesn't work, the chance are they don't carry the particular product.

And if you really want to know whether DDD or any other site has removed a certain product, it is possible to look that up as well. If you use Google and let's say you want to find Azumanga Daioh Vol.1 + Box, type this in the search box (site:www.deepdiscountdvd.com "Azumanga Daioh"). I found the 5th link listing Vol. 1 + Box and it doesn't list any products if you try to click the link. From that alone tells me that they no longer carry the item. If you go back to your search result and click the Cached link (snapshot), the 4th listed item down is Vol. 1 + Box. This tells you that DDD did once carry this title for $26.59 at mid-August of last year.

Oh, I've actually seen the entire series. A lot of the time I've only seen but don't own complete collections because a) often they're entirely too expensive to buy as they come out, b) my brother buys them as they come out and I can reap the benefits that way or, c) a combination of those two. I only own Vol. 1 + artbox (which I can now put on the market). It's a show that's mainly about two childhood friends who make their way up the ladder of the mafia. Great character development in this show and it's easily worth a mere $50. Here's a link to quite a few user reviews-

$50 is a steal for this A-title, anamorphic widescreen, DD5.1 English/Japanese, DTS5.1 Japanese.

I would have jumped in on the deal if not already own the whole thing.

There is a thinpak collection with the same discs, perhaps Geneon is trying to clear inventory since the boxset takes much more room?!

omg I'm a weird problem when trying to order the gungrave set. Everytime I check out to the ship address the next page that loads up says that I have nothing in my cart. I even tried ordering on my sister computer and same thing happen. You dont think that they remove it?

I just checked to see if it did the same thing on my computer. I went to the final screen where you have to input your payment and the set was still listed in my cart. I don't know what to tell you other than that they haven't pulled the set from their site.

Had the same problem once and contacted their CS. If you have more than one page open on the website, the order won't go through. Never fear, they want your money. Which I gladly give to them every month.
