I can confirm that Best Buy B&M has Record of Lodoss War - Chronicles of the Heroic Knight 4-Disc DVD Collection for $16.99.

Damn, I have one of those still sealed. I have the first 6 volumes, never watched it yet, for that price I think I might sell mine. It looks in the past they have gone for anywhere between $100 (opened) to $275. Was it that limited?

Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the best selling anime titles recently. I recall when I was browsing at Suncoast, a couple of parents came in with their kid looking to buy the latest volume at that time. They bought it at full retail with a heart beat. Then the suncoast guy talked about saving $10 had they preordered it. They then preordered the next volume without much thought. I think this title ought to be popular enough that even kids could get their parents to buy them at full price...
Yes. The vol. 1 tin is limited and OOP ages ago. It is nearly impossible to find it anywhere even at full retail stores such as Suncoast now. |

The firsts eason of FMA is great. But unfortunately, it falls apart in the second. I've been told that's where it splits from the Manga. But I've never read the Manga so I couldn't be positive about that.
I kinda stopped watching after that and haven't bothered continuing to see if it improves back to the level it was earlier on. |

The rarity of the FMA tin is probably helped by the fact that 50% of them seemed to come to Best Buy with one dent or another in it...

I don't know if anyone would be interested in this, but I just grabbed Junkers Come Here for $9.99(originally $24.99) from my Best Buy. Seemed as if it had been there for a while, so I'm not sure how many stores still carry them.
