I reveiwed Karas and wasn't that impressed. There were some nice scenes, but the oh-so-trendy jerky camera movement and the fact that people were always fighting in the dark made it harder to watch than I'd like. The plot was pretty pedestrian too.

Of course, YMMV.

Here's my review:

For another opinion, read Don Houston's review too. He liked it more than I did:

I picked up a free Funimation "Spring 2006" DVD sampler at Best Buy. Came in a sleeve and has a full length episode of a few shows plus two dozen trailers or so.

Not sure if you would classify this as anime, but it's GC animation from Japan

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be $14.99 at both BB and CC (Thanks to Speedy posts).

EBgames and Gamestop have FF7:AC for $24.99 with a preorder bonus DVD. You'll have to decide for yourself if the bonus disc is worth the extra $10. I'm going to BB for mine

Got the updates, however, this was in last month's thread. Thanks anyway!

Just got back from Big Lots, they restocked with some titles not listed in the chart.

Armitage Dual Matrix(Normal Edition) - They had both the normal and special editions, so I'm not sure if you want to count this.
eX-Driver The Movie
Lupin the 3rd #8 (w/ Choro Q On-Pack - Jigen w/ Red Car) - I was VERY suprised to find this.
Submarine 707R
Vampire Princes Miyu #4

Oh, and they had about 3 Lupin the 3rd's left..

Edit: Forgot to mention they had Beyblade #3. I had more luck finding Beyblade volumes at Dollar General, though. That reminds me, about a month or two ago, I picked up G-Gundam #1 from Dollar General. Something else to add to the chart.

Great, thanks a lot! We'll have to wait on the chart additions, but I've made updates for now. Someone was nice enough to e-mail me about how to maintain the charts myself, but I honestly just don't have the time right now. School is occupying most of my free time, if not all of it. And with finals coming up, things won't be quieting down until after the semester's officially over. After that, I'll be juggling three summer school classes, then two more full-time semesters. Keeping up this thread isn't a problem, but for now, I'll have to leave the charts to SkyDog. He's having some difficulties with his computer at the moment (as previously mentioned in this thread), so just hang in there. Thanks for all the updates, everyone!

Sorry, I meant I found Beyblade #3 at Big Lots. But.. a while back I did find Beyblade 1-4 at Dollar General, so you can add that if you want. Hopefully this post makes more sense than the last.

Got it. Btw, was it Submarine 707R (regular edition)? I'm gonna stop by Big Lots tomorrow and see if they've got any goods.

Damn, I forgot to tell you that you put Vampire Princess Miyu #5 instead of Vampire Princess Miyu #4, which is the one I found. Vampire Princess Miyu #5 was already listed in the chart, I think.

My Big Lots also had a restock. New to the list: Ex-Driver The Movie and Armitage III (OVA).

Oh my mistake. Ex-Driver was, I must've just missed it. Sorry!

Armitage III OVA hasn't been mentioned. You have the Dual Matrix and Polymatrix, but I saw the original OVA, which is not in the list. The original OVA was used to make Polymatrix.

You can see the DVD here: http://animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/1248.php

My mistake, thanks! I'll add it to the list now.

I stopped by my BL today, and there was zilch. I was disappointed!

Was it the original release with the foil cover or was it the recent signature series release?

Went back to Big Lots today to return something, and I found Lupin the 3rd #7 (w/ Choro Q On-Pack - Lupin w/ Yellow Car). Can't believe I didn't see it before. I also went to the Dollar General across the street and found G-Gundam #7, and .hack//legend of the twilight #3.

It's also been reported on CAG by GuilewasNK that Big Lots have Lupin the 3rd #9 (w/ ChoroQ on-pack - Fujiko w/green motorcycle).

I'm loving these little Lupin toys..

Mine is totally going up on ebay. Too bad I opened it. I'm poor. I like boxes for my anime, but not that much.

It's like the Bebop perfect sessions all over again.

Oh, my. Well, I'll try to do a big update when I get home, but linking all of these might be pointless, anyway, since most of these prices won't be reflected online. Thanks a lot! Now all we need is another 30% off coupon for RZ members from Animerica.

Good price for the Yu Yu Hakusho sets.

On a side note, I think back to all those times I passed on getting the Fullmetal Alchemist Tin and it makes me ill.

I know this is really lazy of me, but for now, I've copied and pasted the list into an update because just looking at it exhausts me. Ha ha. It's quite a list! I will try to integrate it in my normal fashion soon. Hope this'll do for now.
