Hollywood Video Buy 2 Get 2 Free

Just hit my local Hollywood Video (Edgebrook & Old Galveston Rd. in Pasadena, Texas). They were running a buy 2 get 2 free sale. Picked up Hustle & Flow, Dukes of Hazzard, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The 40 Year-Old Virgin for about $8 a piece after taxes.

Why deals like that don't happen here in Chicago

Today I went and they only have a buy 3 for $25 (for newer titles)

and a buy 4 for $25 but they are old crappy titles that are about 3 years old and no one wants.

That's a Movie Gallery promotion. You sure you aren't confusing the two, because we (Hollywood) never run such sales.

Is this the website?

A heads up for any of you OC folk. The Hollywood video on Garden Grove and Harbor is running the B2G2 Free promo. Better yet, if purchase 2 $14.99 and 2 lower priced items, they will only charge you for one higher priced item and one lower priced. For example, if two of your dvds are $14.99 and two are $9.99. They'll ring up one 9.99 title and one 14.99 title; the other two are free. Picked up Melinda and Melinda, Transporter 2 (w/insert), Broken Flowers, and Enduring Love for $21 and change. The latter title was 5.99

I know the location you're talking about. Isn't it across from the high school? Technically, it's Fairmont Pkwy. which becomes Edgebrook when it crosses west over Shaver -- not Old Galveston Rd. but I haven't been there in months.

Isn't it "master's" degree? Don't forget the seperation of "so" and "no" with a comma, also. (Juuuuust kidding, I had to play into this whole "sarcasm" bit, it's my thing.)

That BOGOF is interesting, because I work there, and haven't heard the first word about any such promotion. It must be a franchise location.

Your wife never complains when she breaks me off a piece! Boo-yaa!

Seriously though, I can obviously barely read, cut me some slack. But even I know what "Buy 2, Get 2 Free" means.
