2 for $12 on selected DVDs at Borders

Like the titles says. Decent DVDs available, although some can be found in Wally Worlds bargain bin. Here is the link for available titles:

Don't get too excited about the Criterion sale. It's $5 off MSRP, so $24.99 and $34.99.

I paid more than 6 bucks a pop for many titles on that list - some excellent movies there!

If they're still there, I'll spring for THE NAME OF THE ROSE...also THE WIND & THE LION (a favorite: this will be a Christmas gift).

Haven't seen Name of the Rose, but it might be worth the blind buy. Thinking about blind buying Great Expectations for that price too. Thanks for the heads up!

This sale is actually in-store only.

Interesting note is that their in-store circular for November shows the OOP MGM 2010 as part of the 2 for $12 but online they show the WB 2010 and they do not care, according to their computer, the OOP version. I was hoping they had that one since I understood it was the better one. Oh, well.

Dick Tracy and Name Of The Rose for me, both great little movies for that price. Thanks dx23!
