Redbox is owned by McDonald's, but they only have them at their restaurants in a few areas. Around me they're at some Wal-Marts and grocery stores.

They don't use burned discs, they're the same discs that you would buy. Their site can show what titles are in a particular location, if you reserve one through the website it won't be available to anyone else before you pick it up. You can't use the free coupons on reserved titles though.

In the past I used Netflix & BB online. I went exclusively with BB online when they started the store trade in. I went back to Netflix a few months ago because BB online raised $$ way to high (3 out went from $21 to $35). Since I've been back with Netflix the only new release I have had shipped to me was Sweeny Todd this week.
So if I can reserve a new release for $1 for 1 day, I might keep Netflix & off set new releases with redbox. Otherwise its back to BB online so I can trade in movies on Tuesday for new releases in hand.

I've been using ALVIN14 this week, NOFOOL doesn't work anymore. Don't know how long codes like these usually last, seems like there are some codes that only work in some areas. When a big movie comes out there's usually a code related to it, "BEEMOVIE" was one when that came out a few weeks ago and seems like it worked for a while.

ALVIN14 worked yesterday but not today, had to leave empty-handed. The InsideRedbox site says there's a new one "TAXES" but don't know if that works everywhere or how long it's good for.

Since I'm in front of the computer on a Monday and feeling nice, I'll share today's Monday-only Redbox code- it is:

I got four Netflix "friends and family" codes in the mail, which are good for a 30-day free trial instead of the usual two weeks. Also, for each one claimed, I get an extra rental.
1. M91165391005
2. M94169321025
3. M99166361055
4. M98160361075

They're one-time use codes, and they expire on June 15th, so jump on 'em if you're interested.

*edit 6/15--guess these weren't popular. If anyone's wondering, they all seem to still be active for a few more hours.*
