Ultimate Matrix Limited Edition $41.04 at Overstock

Thanks for the information everyone. I decided not to wait for the DDD sale and risk it being sold out, and went with Overstock.com which ended up costing just $37.60 after the 12% off link. This was too good of a deal to pass up.

Did the same thing here. Took the plunge from Overstock.com using the 12% off link (plus the 4% for Fat Wallet Rebate too!). Ended up being $35.09 for me (excluding the Fat Wallet Rebate).
Not sure how reliable it is, but Overstock.com is listing it now with "Limited Inventory" and "Sell Out Risk: Very High", so I just figured it wasn't worth risking it being sold out just to save another $3.

Actually, the foam is part of the LE set, all OVerstock did was shipping the LE box in a bigger box. The construction of the dual foam will protect the LE set, regardless how the package was shipped (it will with stand lots abuse).

Well, Amazon's prices went up already for the LE edition. Its now $43.94. DDD still has it at $41.94, but am wondering for how much longer. So I panicked : ) I finally decided to pick it up at Overstock for $41.14. There is a $17 off $150 coupon available, so I had to search high and low for stuff to add to this order. I included Polar Express sp. ed. for $15.79, Star Wars Clone Wars Vol. 2 for $14.23, Footballers Wives 1st season for $21.02, and some other books. I am happy with my purchase as the prices are competitive even with DDDs 20% off, and these are things I intended to buy. Well, at least thats what I tell myself now that I've already bought these items ; )

The info I have found on MSRP drop is the LE is $54.99 and the non LE is 52.99. I just received mine from DDD and yes it was packaged very well with the foam and much paper around it, and I do think it is quite impressive, and am very happy with it at that price.

OKay I found it at a site for both the collectorsw/bust and w/o bust for 32 dollars for each set. Free shipping. I would normally go for the one with the bust because it normally cost more right, but the thing is the case for the collection with the bust looks like crap. And I don't really want the bust either. And if I sell the bust Ill have half an empty case.
So for those of you that bought it which version is better?
I'll post the link to the website where I found it, but I want to order mine first.

Which One Do I Buy?
My son is a huge fan and I of course know nothing about these films. The Ultimate Collection and Ultimate Collection LE seem the same except for a $2 difference. Anyone know the difference, and which one is better? Appreciate the help!

The plastic looks breakable. And does the bust section come off? If I were to take out the bust or sell it, would I have half an empty case too?

I still think this would look nicer on a shelf then the bust version.
So everybody that has it here has the bust version? What do you do with the busts then? Just leave it in the case?
also heres a trailer for the ten disc set

Just found out that the limited w/bust contains an 80 page booket, while the one without the bust contains a 20 page booklet. Bust version it is.

When it was first released I wanted the bust so I almost got the LE until I actually saw it in person. It takes up a lot of space and having a half-empty (I wanted to put the bust on a different shelf) plastic case didn't sit well. Plus the little plastic DVD shelves seemed odd.
Too bad they didn't offer the bust along with the regular 10-disc set. I would've been on that in a heartbeat.

Nay, the LE set is much much better (again, if you have shelf space). The openning trays are cool... The cases are okay, but still, the discs can "pop out" if not properly put away (it happens quite often). However, this can almost never happen if the discs are stored horizontally Besides, openning the trays are kind like a little Matrix thing, don't you agree?
