The FYE ad is almost the same (also part of transworld media)
but it doesn't have the deal on the games or the 2 for $10 deal. Would have been nice to avoid the zoo at CC Friday since many of the tittles look to be similar.

Seriously folks, anyone know if Wherehouse has the same deal?

It's about an hour away and I don't think they'll be answering the phone.

I want to get in on some of this.

Thanks

I went to Coconuts this morning and got the 175 DVD rack for $4.99 after rebate. It's the one on page 2 of the ad.

I don't want to make you paranoid about your DVD rack, but I had a friend who stored his DVDs that way and when his apartment was broken into, the thief took the DVDs, rack and all. I'm sure that some or even most of the DVDs would have been stolen anyway, but the rack proved to be a handy carrying case....

Good point. I'll just leave them scattered all over my living room and they'll never be stolen. Thanks for the tip.

Stopped by my local Wherehouse - I was looking for the 2 for $10 deals, but didn't see any. I saw their ad up front and noticed that the front page deals were only for for that morning. (a couple 2 for $10's, but nothing I wanted) Didn't spend much time looking at the rest.

From looking around I DID notice the $5.99 titles on sale though, so it looks like some of the deals are there.

Not much help I know. Place was a deadzone when I was there, so it might be worth calling.

Yo dude, what kind of rack was this? Was it wooden ones or what? Also, what is price before rebate? And was there a lot?

I don't know the quality of it, but I do know that it's $14.99 + Tax - $10 MIR.

I'm not sure the quality of it though.

I stopped by Strawberries this afternoon and Kill Bill Volume 1 is also 9.99 AR. With the Kill Bill 2 on pack coupon mentioned elsewhere($5 off when you buy both), it's 14.98 + tax AR for both if you don't already have them.

I got through this morning and they were doing the sale. I wanted the rack so I drove the hour. The in store ad was the same as the coconuts ad (BTW, why doesn't wherehouse post thier ad online like coconuts. BBTW why is coconuts sending me the ad via e-mail and the wherehouse is not. BBBTW how many times can I do this until it gets annoying.)

the 5 for 10 DVDs were only 8-10. Mostly WB stuff. I picked up Pumping Iron and Osmosis Jones... and the rack.

you're getting the coconuts ads probably cuz u ordered something from there before.

Also, for the longest time, only FYE had a dot com. Coconuts.com is pretty new. Strawberries still doesn't have a dot com. Also, keep in mind that Wherehouse was recently acquired by TWEC so it may take a while for them to convert the site.

The dimensions of the rack are 45"H x 22" W x 10" D, with 6 adjustable shelves. Click on the ad on the right to see the picture. It's on the bottom left.
