Price match at Circuit City?

I hardly ever go to Circuit City but they moved to a new location which is only about a 8 minute drive.

Do they do price matches?

Not only do they price match, but they're suppose to beat the ad by 10%.

10% of the difference that is.

Also, wrong forum, this should be in the store-forum. CC should also have their price match policy posted on their website.

From CircuitCity.com:

If you've seen a lower advertised price from another local store with the same item in stock, we want to know about it. Bring it to our attention, and we'll gladly beat their price by 10% of the difference. If you see a lower advertised price (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of your purchase, we'll refund 110% of the difference.

Our policy applies only to advertised prices. It does not apply to special offers or promotions, including rebates, free-with-purchase offers and special financing. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide price matches online, so please visit the closest Circuit City store to take advantage of our Price Guarantee.

Not on BF

However, last year they would not price match on Black Friday, so if that is your goal, go elsewhere.

Out of all the places to pricematch, Circuit City is the easiest, at least for me. They never call to see if the item is in stock and they always give me the 10% off the difference. I usually just go to the front check out - the guys that have the checkout in the media section "need managers approval".

Not for me...they are a pain. They never give me the 10%. They always call and they seem to use that as an opportunity for an extra coffee break. I only go there if I have to now. I will even pay a little extra elsewhere.

It's almost impossible to price match at my Circuit City. Good luck.
