looney tune golden col v1 and v2 cheap at Costco

I just picked up looney tune golden vol 2 at Costco in Glendale, CA for ($40.99 - $10 discount). The discount applies to both v1 and v2.

Gah!! I've been iffy on these, but at that price, it looks too good to pass up! Man, I hate going to Costco on the weekends though!

Awesome! I picked up the set today. The second volume says that if you buy any two sets you can get an additional $10 back by mail.... but there wasn't any rebate info in the box. Nor did I get a rebate receipt... anyone know anything about this? I'd love to reduce my cost to $25 per set.

Thanks!

It's a generic rebate from WB. $10 back if you buy 2, or $15 back if you buy 3.

Thanks, eau.

Problem is, I didn't get a rebate form in the set... How do I get one?

Thanks for your help... it's great having a community like this!

I don't see Looney Tunes v1 as part of the $10/$15 rebate. I was planning to purchase v1 and v2 at Costco today :-(.

What's included is the Looney Tunes: Spotlight Collection Vol. 1 release, not the Golden Coll. V1.

The Costco in my area (Northeast Ohio) had the deal, but it wasn't marked anywhere. I had to ask a cashier to verify.

Thanks for the head's up on this one. I too was on the fence, but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Oh... my bad....sorry, baloux.

Though on the collection 2 box it says: "Buy any 2 home video cartoon classics DVD sets..."

Now I'm confused.

I just came back from my local Costco and they didn't apply the rebate to the Looney Tunes Collection Vol. 2. Did I do something wrong?

Costco has $12 off Fox and WB TV titles in upcoming Thanksgiving promotion (details). I wonder if Looney Tunes Gold V.2 will be considered as a WB TV DVD.

The $10 instant rebate should be automatic. No coupons needed. The cashier who took care of my transaction also didn't know anything about the promo but the $10 credit just came up when she rung up the dvd...

dont mix up the costco $10 off with the WB mail-in rebate.
The $10 costco discount applies to Looney Tune Golden V1 or V2. After you have purchased the DVDs, you then do a mail-in rebate with WB to get ($5 for one title and up to $15 for three). The Titles are listed on the prior threads.

Just a quick "thanks" to the OP. With corporate Blockbuster screwing around with my pre-paid pre-order of Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Volume 2, I shot over to the local Costco yesterday between NFL games to pick up the set for approximately the same price.

I didn't know that you can also get $5 just for buying one of the WB titles. I thought the minimum is ANY 2 titles to qualify for the $10 mail-in rebate, isn't it? As I was saying in my previous post, Looney Tunes Golden Collection v1 is not one of the titles listed on the the rebate certificate (only the Spotlight version). But at the same time, the box of the Looney Tunes v2 says that if we buy any 2 WB sets, we qualify for the $10 rebate. This is where the confusion lies because the two conditions cancel each other out.

according to the form, this DOES NOT apply to the GOLDEN collection vol. 1. But to something called the spotlight collection vol. 1.
