It's not really a "sale" considering that they've had these titles for that price for almost a year.

true. and it looks like these are all the same ones that you'd find in the walmart bin. at least the other sites $5.99 sales have some fresh meat in them.

Niice. I'd pick up Mars Attacks if it wasn't in a snapper.

STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN
I can't believe this is so cheap, this documentary is simply amazing. Of course, I bought it the day it came out, but I'll bet I watched it more times than anything in my collection! If people don't pick this up for $4.79 (after coupon) I'll feel sorry for them!

BUY THIS MOVIE!!!

I ordered Standing in the Shadows of Motown yesterday, as soon as found out about it. Unfortunately, that was before I found about the 20% sale. But 5.99 isn't that bad.

You guys gotta be kidding. You'd forego a good movie like that when it's only $5.99 because of the case? I still can't believe people still complain about snapper's that are priced at that point. I hate snappers as much as the next guy (paying MSRP, or close to it of course), but at $5.99? It's a no brainer to get it if you like the movie. Not to mention with the 20% off it's only $4.79 and free shipping! I'd put up with a snapper for that price.

I must say, when every time I go to pull a snapper off the shelf and it pulls another disk off with it, I curse the damn snappers.

This is why I haven't gotten Mystic River. It's either pay for the snapper, or pay $$ for the SE.

Just an fyi.
"Standing In The Shadows of Motown" is DTS and is one of those Microsoft's HD dvds in addition to being a regular dvd.
I don't care about the HD part since you have to verify that part online.

For me, the last thing I consider when buying a movie is the case it comes in. The only ones I truly despise are the paper sleeves for bonus discs because they tend to cause surface scratches. Otherwise, I could care less...
