Taking a poll to see how many were able to get the required purchase goal to get the coupon for the free Shrek 2 or Elf DVD at Albertson's stores?
While I bought quite a few Pepsi 24-packs, Doritos, Lays potato chips and some Tropicana O.J. I fell short by about $40

I got really ticked off about this promotion.
"Purchase select (brand name) products up to $100 and get Shrek 2 or Elf free"
What were the "select" items? I bought some of the "select" items. Some applied and some didn't.
What Albertsons should of done was to post the specific items that qualified, including quantity and size/ounces.

Strange.. in Southern Cal.. (at least in my area) it's $50 to get the DVDs.. i bought all the cokes and detergine and on one receipt and that's it.. gonna picked up the dvd.. when it come out

This offer was available locally at Osco Drugs, with $100 of "qualified" purchases you got ELF free. Seems to be the same group of products Frito Lay chips, Pepsi, Tropicana, and Tide. I did not make it to $100 after thinking about how much Pepsi, and Doritos I would have to buy, I gave up.

Just picked up about 6 12 packs of soda and a couple bags of chips to put me over the mark. My boss is throwing a party at his place and everyone has to bring stuff, so I volunteered to bring soda and chips. Not a bad price either at $1.99 a 12 pack of pepsi/pepsi products.
