Anyone still finding the Best Buy Friday the 13th set w/ bonus disc anywhere?

If so...would anyone be willing to grab me one and I'll pay via PayPal? It's for a birthday present and the Best Buy here sold out.

I would greatly appreciate it....I'm good for the money so don't worry about that. I've made a couple deals on here and I have 500 + eBay feedback.

I'm afraid the chance of getting this bonus disc at local store is very very small. I've been calling my nearest 4 Best Buy stores every other day on behalf of my friends since the release day and all they got is the regular edition. Some store clerks told me they didn't even see DVD set with the bonus disc on the release day. Look at ebay autions you will know the demand on this bonus disc is crazy(Some guy sold it for over $87! just this single disc!).

I remember when Indiana Jones box set was released, hundreds of copies with bonus disc were piled up at store. It's a shame they didn't treat Friday the 13th release as royal as Indy's.

I was lucky to snatch one on the the release day. I will keep this "Jason forever" bonus disc FOREVER. I wish you very best luck!

I don't get any of this. Why on earth would Best Buy go to the trouble to license this bonus disc, and advertise it, but only have a few hundred made up? It just doesn't seem worth the trouble. There must be thousands of these sets with the disc, or at the discs by themselves sitting in a warehouse somewhere, victim of a screw-up of some sort. Either that, or they didn't get them made up and packaged on time, in which case we'll be seeing them hopefully in the weeks ahead. (In which case the die-hard fans are screwed, because odds are they caved and bought the set elsewhere by now.)

This scarcity isn't just because of unexpected demand - it sounds like most stores only got maybe five copies with the bonus disc, if that. There never was the chance for most of us to even get this in the first place. Something's screwy at Crystal Lake...

i have to hope the last post is right, cause i thought the same thing, why do all the above and waste the time to advertise in your flyer just to piss off everyone who comes looking for it, and then having un-informed employees telling you, don't worry its inside the set. sure, i think we all pretty much figured out, if its not affixed to the back don't even try. I was there first thing on street day tuesday and out of the 10 sets my BB got not one had the disc and everytime i check back the ones they have still are bare. Sad part is they won't re-order any new ones probably until those sell. sigh

I'll hold out and try to find a set with the bonus disc until my Madden 20% off coupon is about to expire. I fully expect them to get them at some point, it's just really annoying having to always check in and/or call.

I went to two Best Buys of the week of release and they didn't have any. I bought a set anyway to price match with Circuit City. I then ordered it from BestBuy.com for less than my price match ($52 and change, not including tax and S&H). I received it in the mail a few days ago with the bonus disc. The other set will be returned shortly. Try the website.

I went to the West Hollywood store on release day and they only had two sets and both had the bonus disc. Lucky I bought it then with the Madden coupon. A few days later they had a few more but with no bonus disc. Good luck to everyone looking.
