The terms are somewhat confusing. Can you get an additional 10% off sale prices? or is this only on BB's regularly priced merchandise?

There is a nice little omission in the 'exclusions' this time. Just might have to go see if itll work

Reported on FW: This is not applicable to a sale-priced item.

Once again the only day worth a trip to BB appears to be Black Friday.

Why did it need to be "Reported"? It says on the coupon "*Markdown taken from regular prices" right under the blue bar. That's not exactly top-secret information.

If you click on the LINK for "PRINT THIS COUPON" (from the Coupon website), it links to a Labor Day coupon (Sept 3-6).

I just wasted 5 sheets of paper.

... honestly, though, thanks.

Not to argue, or even set an "unreasonable expectation", but I have been able to use these without any problems on the "new releases" that were sale-priced -- I'm planning on trying this again with the Aladdin DVD and the Good Charlotte CD this week.

That's pretty funny... I fell in the same trap here too -- didn't even bother checking the date on the PDF file!

BUT, there's no reason why you couldn't just print out the HTML page instead -- it has the right dates!

Could you use the 10% off coupon towards the purchase of a Laptop? It doesn't list computers as an item on the coupon but it doesn't say that you can't use it for that either.

This is what I was thinking too. If not, I have a Circuit City 10% off coupon that I was going to use to get a Laptop there.

I'm confused here. Is the coupon usable even though the link takes you to a Labor Day coupon (Sept 3-6)?

This coupon is confusing.

It says "10% off any single item," but then lists a bunch of categories to the right. The list of categories to the right implies that if it isn't listed there, the coupon should not work. Anyone notice that CDs and DVDs aren't listed?

Also, in the exclusions below, it lists "pay-as-you-go wireless phones," but NOT the refill cards for them. In addition, why would it exclude that specific type of wireless phone if "wireless phones" isn't listed in the categories on the right?

It also doesn't exclude gift cards, which every coupon I have ever seen does. What's to stop someone from buying a $100 gift card for $90, then printing out another coupon, and buying a $111.10 card with the $100? You could in theory keep doing this.

This coupon just seems wrong to me. Plus, it's not from Best Buy's website; it's from postpublisher.net.

EDIT: When you click the "Print" link it brings you to the Labor Day coupon, which says "Save 10% off any single item in select categories" which the Columbus Day one does not say.

EDIT MORE: I got home from work and checked my mail, and Best Buy sent me similar coupons. I got a "10% off any single item OR 12% off any single item from the following categories when you use a Best Buy credit card," with the categories being the same as the coupon in this thread. On the back, it does not exclude gift cards.

I got a separate coupon for 10% off regularly priced music, movies, & video game software, any combination, limit 3. However, they used the Aladdin DVD as an example if an "essential DVD" to use the coupon on. Best Buy is so weird.

I just printed the page rather than clicking the "print this coupon" link. We'll see what happens.

Definition: The day after Thanksgiving in the United States, is frequently referred to as Black Friday.

General Use: One of the major U.S. holiday shopping days. The day many U.S. consumers begin Christmas shopping. The day is heavily promoted by retailers.

Origin: The origin of Black Friday comes from the shift to profitability during the holiday season. Black Friday was when retailers went from being unprofitable, or "in the red," to being profitable, or "in the black", at a time when accounting records were kept by hand and red indicated loss and black profit.

Interesting info. on Black Friday. I always thought it was just because it was the scariest shopping day of the year.

Ive always found these coupons to be practically worthless. Best Buys regular prices stink, so Im not going to buy anything from them unless its on sale. I guess its good for Joe Schmoe who actually thinks anything he buys there is a "best buy". Im tempted to try it with Aladdin since some people have had success, but every place in Raleigh and Cary is a stickler to the terms and the rules and never want to give anyone a deal.
